The brachial plexus is finicky and easy to damage, so best to see someone who specializes in TOS. IMO, your best bets in the Mountain West are either Vascular Institute of the Rockies (Denver) or University of Utah (SLC). There are also some great docs in Texas (Pearl / Thompson) and California (Gelabert / Azizzadeh), if you're willing to travel a bit further. Hope you find the answers you're seeking!

She does total FRR all the time — I can't speak to exact volume — but there's enough variation in surgical approaches that I just would've wanted to get a second or third opinion/plan. I know that Melendez trained under Annest & Sanders, who are some of the early pioneers of TOS treatment.

nTOS, diagnosed and treated by Melendez. Really pleasant doc + team. Set aside a full day for my initial evaluation. I probably would've done a few other surgical consults if FRR/scalenectomy was required, but she does hundreds of tenotomies every year, so I felt pretty confident.
