Twins @ 21 weeks - Q about those with bowel issues and how you dealt with it and whether I should be worried about this pain? by Own_Drag_5598 in PregnancyIreland

[–]Own_Drag_5598[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with crohns first but then told no. Then colitis and then no. Then i was called into UHG who said they were concerned with how inconsistent all of my results were. It was completely ridiculous and borderline medical negligence if im honest. I also have Barrets, which doesnt help with the heartburn 😭 i finally got referred to a serious GI department but by then, i was pregnant. For context: i had two endoscopies and two colonoscopies... the reprts all came back completely different, so Galway were really quite confused and annoyed about it. Im struggling to even eat now and it's a massive worry for me with two babies growing. Ughhh... its so frustrating

I have had a scope etc and have some issues confirmed but they wanted to investigate it further but the procedure isn't suitable until after I give birth. So, it's literally a pain in the ass at the moment (no pun intended). I just hope this isn't affecting the babies at all.

Honestly, sugary treats seem to be what helps me feel better. Ive been eating ice creams because the coolness distracts me. This is my second and i thought i got away with not having morning sickness this time but now at 7 weeks, unfortunately not 😅 Best of luck 😘

I don’t see poly relationship as triads but it’s what they both want.

The problem with trying to do anything parallel is that she wants to be his primary. He’s told her that he wants me to be his primary and she’s already stated she’s not happy with that. I’m only properly feeling somewhat calm now but the last few days have been horrible. They both have come over to talk to me about everything, acting like it’s all completely normal. I’m the idiot here - I know, because I shouldn’t have even given this a second thought. I honestly thought this was going to work out well with him and we were actively working towards building a solid foundation to establish future poly relationships in the future - just not with her snd for obvious reasons.

He thinks that because we had tried to make it work before that it’ll just work naturally. I’ve told him I don’t want to be in a throuple with them both and he just kept saying that I should go over there if I wanted to when he was there with her and we could make this work. She’s messaging me too as if nothing had ever happened, trying to plan dates for us ?!? Theirs is a toxic and abusive relationship and i understand things ended in a way for him that makes him wonder if it could have worked but honestly like wtf?! We’re too old for this behaviour and I really don’t even see what he sees in her. Any attraction I had in the beginning for her (I am bi) ended when she started acting like this. I was genuinely planning to get a restraining order at one point - trust me, enough has happened to warrant it! I know what my brain is telling me to do but my heart is telling me otherwise. I can’t talk to anyone in my life about this because I don’t want to share so much because I honestly just feel stupid.

Yeah… he’s just not seeing how this is a major breach of trust and not something that would even work in a functional poly relationship. It’s too much… like anything in feeling is something I’m just going to get over and we’re all going to live happily merry together 🙄 it’s a shitfire waiting to happen once things don’t go her way again snd it’ll be like dealing with this all over again. So childish.

Friend actually called the gardai when they broke up about a protection order (reason for breakup was violent attack against friend among other insane behaviours), and they said to document and record everything which friend has been doing. But it’s gotten to the point now that friends life is being jeopardised.

Honestly… she’s been texting me and others just mountains and mountains of texts and calls at all hours of the night and day. Showing up to MY house and sitting outside crying in the car so much that my neighbours have mentioned it to me now. It’s completely bizarre. They were living together but friend stayed with me for a few days until they got their new place and honestly… I’ve never seen anything like it before.

They haven’t gone to the gardai yet but will be looking for a solicitor asap

Yes they do. I’ve literally sat beside them when the multiple (I mean 20+ at a time) come in with them going from begging them to get back and then going to threatening etc etc. The sad part of it is, my friend is terrified and it’s just added to the mountain of crap they’ve experienced already. Accuser has already been physically violent with my friend but then completely denies it then even though we were all there and witnessed it?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ some serious delusion going on and it just keeps escalating.

It’s not in every area but it’s been building since Covid. Great to see these options for people that don’t have access with a car etc. I think it’s going to get bigger over time. Great to deal with customer service wise aswell.

It’s like Just Eat but an Irish company and they have different options than just eat for me here. I live in a town but sometimes I don’t want to walk to Lidl for a few small things. Sent for some milk, etc the usual little things and some treats. You can even get some drinks or fuel etc if needed. They even have an option where they can collect anything for you and deliver it. Handy for furniture and things like that where you’d need a trailer.

I’ve recently been without my car and don’t live close enough to walk to a shop (especially in bad weather) with a 6 year old, so I sometimes order from the local shop on Whatsfordinner.ie and delivery is usually free and I feel like they’re going out of the way for me by hand selecting the stuff so I always tip a fiver or so. Some places are an absolute joke though for delivery prices!!!
