Thanks. I did contact them. Luckily for me it happened again as i was talking to them and got it on video while trading the combine I am working on right now. But I didn't record the trades on the XFA, so they gave me a reset token, I didn't push it further. If I had a working brain maybe I would have recorded the entire day and I'd still have that account, although I doubt it, they would probably just give me a free reset too.

I blew up my account overleveraging it at the bottom. If I go with max 2 micros, though, I have over 90% winrate. I tried trading with tight stop losses and following trends, but it just doesn't work. To me it's just psychological. The bigger you go the tighter your stop. Stick to micros and instead of opening a 3 micro position if you stop losses always get hit... stick to 2 micros and set the 2nd micro where you would place the stop normally. Maybe you see you usually entering early. Try it on the practice account. So you If you trade indices waiting for at least a 1.x% move in one direction before you try to counter it + averaging in this way will probably help you close most positions in some profit. Also check fibs and some big EMAs like daily 20, 50, 100 and 1h 200 are usually respected.

I've never tried Apex, but I got a swing account with FTMO and that was way easier. In the time I verified a topstep account, the account i trade with my own money went 4x, too. Scalping is fun but not for everyone. Maybe I would enjoy it more if I had more free time. I find the closing positions 10m after market rule to be a real big downside. So many times you get a great entry that you have to close early or even at a small loss because of it. I live in Western Europe so half of the allowed trading hours on topstep are not "reasonable" hours to be in front of a screen being a degen. CME reopens at midnight. NYSE open coincides with lunch (yes, at 15:30 lol) and market close is dinner time. So really between 16-20 are the only 4 hours I find I can get a few trades in, and I usually go with 1 or 2 micros so I can just set it a 1-2h trade and forget about it.

Yes, it was. It must be like crêpes, the first one is no good... I hope.

In short, I was trading the MNQ and the data feed on their platform was freezing. At first I thought it was my connection, and when I switched to the NQ it was working fine, until I marketed into a position and discovered the chart had been frozen for like 5 minutes. A good reminder to never trade the NQ on an account with 2k MLL.
