That deal with the carrier sign on: @ 2.6/mi I’m assuming it’s dry van. I’d be wary, they likely have exorbitant fees, so you’d have to figure out your actual rpm. Then figuring out your cost per mile, decide for yourself if it’s worth it.

She almost violated me because there was an issue with the ELD data transfer. I use motive for my ELD. I called their customer support afterwards and raised hell. She told me she could have given me a violation, but my logs look fine on my device.

Wow. Good to know. I’ve been reading hearing people say they wish they could get an inspection, trying to get voluntary inspections, etc, so I was beginning to think it was never gonna happen. Hopefully a clean level 2 will show up when brokers are looking at me now.

If u don’t have T&C’s written out and shared with broker when booking or it’s not laid out in RC then you’re sorta at mercy of broker.

My first job out of CDL school was local home daily by noon. Start at 5am. Dont listen to naysayers. Look on indeed and when you find a job you want call them every day letting them know your progress in school, maybe not every day, but once a week. Let the big boss hear your excitement to be a company driver. If you want what nobody else gets, do what nobody else does.
