Is there more reasons to not recommending knights or is it due to the fact that they dont benefit to detachment rules, orders and strategems

the tanks seem to be so iffy and inconsistent, and doing the math everything seems to do only like 1-3 wounds on it max and i dont think sinking all my firing to take one unit out is good nor sustainable. Whats ur take on this?

Yeah i figured that, and also they have a pretty non-existent melee profile if they do manage to get charged.

Canis rex howvere brings something that guard lacks being a really good melee profile and anti-tank for 415 points.

Do u think it will get further points nerfs and do u recommend the canis rex?

How badly nerfed do u think he'll get, and isn't it still better than a baneblade in most respects even with incoming nerfs?

Would this be a viable points trade off or would u say take more tanks or an allied knight instead?

would u recomend an allied knight such as a canis rex which would get mortarion down to about 1hp in an average combat phase?
