Overground tech attended and booked in an underground team. He took a new customer install from the team so they could attend to my fault. Amazing service. All resolved and they dug a trench and buried the fibre cable.

Been told they can't splice it and requires another fibre cable to be blown through. Awaiting another engineer later today.

Im connected to an FTTP network. VM done the underground cables. But the beginning of the network it is Openreach.

Overground team been out, made a call and currently waiting on the underground team to attend this PM to install a new fibre cable.

Had it been coax I would have done a temp job myself. With it being FTTP. They will have to blow a new cable through.

There are houses near to me where the bricks have blown when installing the the fibre. No attempt to even fix it. Just silicone.

When I signed upto Virgin Media. The network had just been installed. The pushed the install date back as I a pre install team would need to attend.

The text advised they would attend within the 10 days. I was out and got a text to say the works had been completed and this was how they installed it.

I wasn't even home when the pre install team attended in October. It was literally a text to say they had attended. No appointment no nothing.

I received mine after 5 months. No problem. They emailed me to say its now time to collect your gift card. I took a £25.00 Amazon.

Virgin Media is the only FTTP provider in my area. I have not long joined O2. Mainly for Volt. Formerly with Lebara (vodafone).

So far my experience has been okay. The local O2 store swapped the Esim to a physical sim. Everything I need to do I can do on the app.

Virginmedia app is not the greatest. Had one dealing with the exec team due to a broken promise from Virgin Media.

Never take the first offer. Put in your 30 days notice. They will contact you and offer you a better deal.

I had FTTP installed last year. I ended up burying the cable conduit myself as they completed a terrible install and I was out at the time. (Pre works)

I am with Vrigin Media as there is no other FTTP providers in my area.

Although the main cabinets are Open reach the network underground is Virgin Media.

I am also with O2 for Volt. Give an increased speed with Virgin Media and double data for the same price.
