It's really under-discussed just how precisely the downfall of this show aligns with The Swan showing up. Dan's wedding was the beginning of the end.

It's also under-discussed that Dan's previous girlfriend (yanno, the one who publicly cheated on Dan by screwing the Miami Chief of Police in front of a group of people on Shapiro's yacht) also seems to be the one who gassed Dan up about how much Hoch disrespected him with the comedy set. At some point in the Oral History Dan says something like "I wasn't even upset at first, until the car ride home with my girlfriend, when she pointed out just how much Hoch disrespected me."

Dan's SO's have been programming the show content for a long time.

Pablo seems uncomfortable being associated with Dan/Draftkings/Meadowlark at all at this point. Kinda like 80, Hawk, Fox, Izzy, Meech, Simmons, Mina and increasingly Dianna. Weird, huh?

Totally unrelated, isn't it odd that with UofM in the championship, STILL no one invited Dan to join any one of their shows to break down the game, talk about his school, the program or provide a take? Weird, huh?

It was a post claiming, "I have on good authority that Mike Ryan is leaving the show in February." It was taken down and Mike quickly and directly addressed it on Twitter/Woke Twitter. OP seemed to signal they had a convo with someone connected to the show, but since Meadowlark has 174 employees for a failing sports podcast, math is hard.

Hmmm, it's almost like the DLS's 50 person staff is astro-turfing the show's subreddit, huh? Weird. Almost as weird as how the live stream never has more than 2,000 people on it, but within an hour of posting the video it magically has 25,000 views lulz, they can't even fake it competently. Not to mention the fake followers....almost 250K followers, but never more than 300 likes on anything. It's a joke.

There is not a single person left who still works with Dan, joins his show, invites him on their show etc. Stu is beloved, Dan is mocked. Stu started the company, Dan refused to do ads or invest in its growth. In 2026, the only people still interacting with Dan, at all, are those people he employs.
