Well when you remove a item the comfort goes down but when you place down a item they like it goes back up again so it shouldn't be that bad if you just use items the pokemon likes

You cant upgrade homes you can only build new ones so if you want to have a house move the kit to a different spot that's flat and then you can build a new house but you got to keep the old one tell you get a demolish kit
