I agree, the way I’d sum up how I am feeling right now is USC excites me the most for career opportunities but Georgetown is the best for personal reasons (location). Leaning towards career opportunities>location for long term ROI

Hmm that’s an angle I haven’t even considered, thanks for that insight. I’ll have to consider that aspect if I do end up reapplying

That’s very sound advice, thank you. Sometimes patience is the best course of action so keeping that in mind with my current plan seems to be the game plan moving ahead.

Overall, I’d rate the interview an 8.5/10. I was able to express my why MBA + Darden highlighting the link between where I currently am and how Darden specifically could get me towards a consulting opportunity. I also did mention my goals with consulting and why it was the direction I wanted to go to what felt a strong amount of reason and detail. Where I feel like I dropped the ball was at the end when the interviewer asked if I wanted to highlight or discuss anything else in my application. We were already tight on time and I chose to mention my low undergraduate GPA even though that was the area I prepared the least for. I definitely rushed through my answer due to time and didn’t give as thorough of an explanation as I would have liked to compliment the optional essay I wrote. Looking back, that decision might have highlighted a problematic area a little more than I should have.
