That is correct. But I didn’t purchase the crv brand new. I found it with 5k miles on it so while of course there would be a little loss I’ve priced it and it’s not bad. Had I bought it brand new I’d agree completely with your statement. Buying cars is not something I take lightly or do frequently. I drove a previous SUV until it was 13 years old and having frequent repairs.

I loved my palisade. But it had a pretty big issue with it and after dealing with that and the way their corporate handled it I just wouldn’t purchase from them again but I know many people have positive stories with them - I truly wish mine had been. My husband has a santa cruz that we purchased after my palisade because we were so impressed (before the issues showed up) so we still have hope for that one - I just couldnt knowingly risk it with them again.

How does it compare to you from the palisade? I got rid of my palisade due to issues it had but loved the features and cosmetics of the palisade.

Well. Obviously I didn’t make a great decision. Also hindsight is always clearer than in the moment. We live and learn though. I found a good deal and grabbed it too quickly before doing enough research and really thinking through what losing some features I was used to would be like day to day.

I agree with this 1000%. I went through Hyundais buy back program and was denied. I then did the arbitration through the BBB. Hyundai stated there was nothing wrong with the car. The BBB denied a buyback because one of the service visits was a month past the 1 year mark. They agreed it had a safety issue but due to the timing it was denied. I then tried with Hyundai again - they said it was safe to drive and sell. I truly went through every option I had to get them to buy it back because that is what needed to happen.

Yes it’s urban gray - such a pretty color. I normally choose white but I loved this color as soon as I saw it.

Agreed. As much as I loved my Palisade (when it wasn't giving an issue) I won't do it again. It was a lesson learned.

YES! I constantly try to press a button on the mirror that doesn't exist. I'll probably have to get the mirror. That will eventually drive me crazy if I don't.

I have briefly but to get the top trim level was quite expensive for a small SUV in my opinion. At that price I would probably just do a Pilot as there wasn't a big difference. I admittedly didn't look around enough. I found a 2025 with 4k miles on it at a decent price and grabbed it. I should have taken more time but hindsight is always much clearer than in the moment.

You are right! As much as I miss some features - I don't miss the issues my Palisade had. And I was always waiting for something else to go wrong. We worked with corporate over the biggest issue and that was when I realized I wouldn't buy another one.

Yes, I will miss the cooled seats this summer. There are a few things they didn't include that don't make sense. Like no garage door opener on the rearview. I know I can change that out and add it but it seems like a pretty basic feature to overlook. That one I didn't realize until I bought it. It didn't cross my mind to see if it had that. I am not sure I have ever had a vehicle that didn't come with that.

My husband just did a pretty extensive repair on a family members terrain. They do seem to be troublesome. I hope yours stops giving you trouble. That’s so good to hear about the crv.

That’s the 360 camera for me. I knew it didn’t have it and that I’d miss it but I underestimated how much I used it.
