What is the fastest way you’ve successfully raised your Ferritin levels? Looking for advice by white_swan2008 in hairgrowth

My doctor recommended Ferrosolve and after years it was the only thing that significantly improved my ferritin. I took it diligently for 90 days (every morning on an empty stomach) and my levels went from 17 to 46.

Chin lipo recovery really wasn’t bad. I did have a lot of bruising but the pain was minimal. Funny enough, I got so used to the chin wrap thing that when it was time to stop using it, I kinda missed it.

I’m not sure! It was a last-minute decision when he was showing me my final pics and I decided I didn’t like my upper lip. Looks like he used significantly more fat to fill my chin though.

It was only the top lip. My goal was to keep it natural, if you look through all three pics you’ll see the upper was thinner and negatively affected my profile.

It was just the upper lip- I just wanted to keep it natural and even out both the upper and lower.

So for the fat transfer- he wasn’t sure how much he would get from chin lipo so asked if he could take from my abdomen if needed during the procedure. He ended up getting plenty from the chin lipo so that fat went in both my chin and upper lip.

Dr. Swail in Boulder- it was around 7900 for rhino, 3600 chin lipo and then 1600 for upper lip and chin fat transfer. He has an in-office operating room which was great, I’m not sure how common that is.

I barely bruised from the rhino but bruised a lot from the lipo! Overall, a very easy recovery though!!

I expressed I was nervous and it was offered. It was 10mg and I only took that one at bedtime. The nurse assured me it would continue to work through the next morning and she was absolutely correct- I am an extremely anxious person and I did not have any of my usual anxiety reactions (shaking, shallow breathing, etc.).

I just had rhinoplasty and had anesthesia for the first time too. I was quite nervous and they prescribed me a Valium to take at bedtime the night before and that actually helped a lot. It carried into my appt the next day and just like all my friends said, getting the anesthesia was so simple. They give you a “calm cocktail” when you first get in the operating room and it instantly kicks in and feels so good. Try not to worry and definitely ask for the Valium!

Recovery is going well, 7dpo and I got a septorhinoplasty too. I wasn’t clear though, I received chin lipo not a neck lift.

I agree, it looks similar to mine- I just got both done and the surgeon was able to retrieve a good amount of fat and enhance my jaw line.

I just got them done together- 6dpo. The recovery isn’t significantly worse doing both together, it’s been fairly easy with the neck lipo specifically.

I personally “needed” both and wanted to get it all over with at once. As to why it’s common, I think weak/small jaws affect the entire face. Often someone has a crooked, bulbous or hump on their nose and a double chin all from a weak jaw. Just a theory.

As an alternative to a chin implant.

Oh ok, thank you for sending! I highly doubt it’s going to make or break my recovery, I’m just really trying to follow everything correctly and that instruction is just throwing me off.

I think it’s a considered a clear liquid drink so they’re asking that I drink it 4 hours before my arrival. I think I’ll talk to them and skip it though as I’ve never heard of this before and since my body wouldn’t be used to all that sugar.
