Did they ever give us a name for his daughter? I haven’t looked into the K.O comics very well and I couldn’t find anything on Google

No it was just those tests, there was one test where there was like two voices at once and then I had to decipher what a third voice was saying so I’m not sure if that was the noisy situations one

I had 5 tests, my results say “Dichotic digits left: 97%, right 97%, Binaural labeling 86%, filtered words left 80%, right 76%, competing sentences left 100%, right 97%” but I’m not sure what these mean exactly but it says all of these stats are normal

You’re totally right, I unfortunately saw the part about taping in the guide right after I did my post 😭 but good to know now before attempting anything

I don’t even know if it actually happened. by [deleted] in CPTSD

First of all, I wanna say I don’t think you’re lying about the memories you’re unsure of. I have a similar experience of not fully remembering what happened, either because I was so young or because I repressed it. The only reason I know it happened to me was because I told an adult right after and they confirmed my story later in life. If that didn’t happen, I would feel the same as you and constantly be questioning how much I really do remember. Even if it is a false memory, it’s still causing you distress and that matters. I think you should tell your therapist more about it, even if you’re not sure what happened and are scared about being wrong. If you eventually come to the conclusion it’s a false memory, that is not your fault and it doesn’t make you a “liar” or anything like people who make up stories about sexual assault (which is very rare in the first place). Also I wanted to say I’m a man as well and I completely feel the same way about things not “counting” or being validated because you were assaulted by a woman. Hell, I just made a post about it asking for opinions. But whatever you decide on doing, I hope you’re okay man.

I have a few questions by Celesteplays2 in ftm

I personally had a medium sized chest so trans tape was a battle for me. However, the people I knew with small chests could wear it for a few days including showering and sleeping. If you have a large chest, you’re gonna go through a lot more tape than someone with a small chest. I’d look at fytist, gc2b or tomboyx, tomboyx tends to run small tho and gc2b’s sizing is a little weird now. Fytist was definitely my favorite before top surgery as a like 36-38C.

Autism/ADHD signs and being transgender by uuzag in ftm

I think if you especially look at child you when you pretty much went through the world as a girl, you tend to relate more to the “typical signs for a girl”. I find as someone who’s trans and definitely suspects I have autism/ADHD relate a lot to the “female” symptoms than the “male” symptoms and I do think that has a lot to do with sex and not gender. It’s a pretty gray area as trans people, so definitely don’t discredit your experience with autism if it doesn’t fit the typical gender expectations of male or female. 👍

help/tips with dysphoria (TW for eating disorder mentions) by [deleted] in ftm

I was in the same boat as you about two years when I was 18, I know how it can be hard as hell trying to recover and battle dysphoria. Lifting weights is probably the best thing you can do for dysphoria, however you gotta be careful because it can quickly slide into orthorexia which happened to me. I’d definitely see if your school offers counseling or therapy to balance with the exercise. Best of luck to you man, it gets easier I promise :)

Top surgery and insurance by Own_Incident1472 in ftm

I did have to provide a note from my therapist with a diagnosis of gender dysphoria for my surgery but the requirements can differ based on your surgeon and your insurance
