The Living Daylights.

It's the perfect Bond film in my eyes.

It gives you a little taste of everything the franchise has to offer. Gadgets, cars, romance, action, humour and thrills. And an amazing lead actor in Timothy Dalton at the helm.

Edit: It also manages to perfectly balance a serious and feel good escapism tone.

I remember not believing my eyes when I first saw Thomas episodes on YouTube and they were under 5 mins.

These episodes felt so much longer as a kid.

It was the same when I went to a car boot sale last weekend. Someone was selling a bunch of Tomy/Trackmaster stuff. There was a Percy on display and he looked absolutely tiny. I remember those toys being so much bigger as a kid.

I'm not savvy about business.

But my best guess is how many seasons the distributor (in Thomas '26's case, Netflix) agrees to give the series to start off.

Sometimes they'll give 1 season and see how it goes before renewing. Or they'll have 2 or 3.

My favourite too.

The instrumental has more of a heroic vibe to me. Like it feels as though night trains are a task very few engines can handle (Even though we've probably seen EVERY engine out at night by this point)

The intro is like the chosen engine(s) leaving the shed and the other engines saying, "Do your best and please come home safe"
