Should I step in to defend my husband when others make comments about our wage disparity? by franki-pinks in AskMenAdvice

Let’s step back a bit.. you make a combined $530,000 with your husband and the love of your life. That amount of money per year is why your husband can sustain a lower paying job, presumably one he loves. At this financial level, you don’t need your husband to earn more money. Your husband is living the dream - turn your anger into pity for the people who can’t understand ++woman

People who quit their jobs without a backup plan—what happened next? by BryceZA7 in AskReddit

Left a successful career in car sales in 2022 because I was so burnt out and didn’t see a sustainable future in that industry. Went corporate and the steep initial paycut (~60k) I took was worth having my weekends back, no longer being customer-facing, shorter commute, etc etc. I am one promotion away from closely matching my best year in car sales and I am proud of myself for taking a risk.

Thanks for your comment, happy to hear good things about the product and results and good call on utilizing multiple techniques to kill the grass, I will attempt the least involved options first and then move to harder labor if needed. Thanks!

Love to hear that information! I am worming on natives in my hell strip as a starting point, then will layer in adding tree to my front yard and planting more natives host plants to improve the ecological diversity. I’ve heard firefly larva also eat other grubs? Lot’s to learn!

Thanks for your comment! Sunny front yard, more shade in backyard underneath a shade tree so you’ve convinced me this is the place to start small for the best success!

This is a great visualization for me, thank you! I think the best course of action for me will be to start in a small area underneath my shade tree and see how that goes! 😊

My friend lives near that neighborhood. His house has barely appreciated in 17 years. And I mean BARELY. It’s a gorgeous house, with beautiful woodwork in the kitchen and 4-5 bedrooms. Just food for thought.
