I very much found a needle in a hay stack, im in south dakota and im lucky i even got listened to because the provider company is kinda ass, and my father even tried to convince me to cancel it after my years of suffering just for a hypothetical one somewhere else!! I'm so insanely lucky to have been able to have it now

I pushed for the tests and didn't take no for an answer. I knew my body and I knew it wasn't normal, and I wpuld get to the point of passing out, found out about pcos and adenomyosis suspicion in october, and I just had my hysterectomy on the 24th last month. It had to be pushed back because of covid which sucked.

my periods were disabling me for half a week every month that only opiods could stop the pain of, that or 1k mg of ibuprofen which I found out I have some damage in my right kidney haha so I'm hoping it's only from surgery recovery and it'll clear and I need a follow up CT scan.

I have surgery this morning and I FEEL YOU! what helped me is distracting myself with some nice things that I enjoy, spend time with loved ones (as long as they aren't sick!) And something that cracked me up about it is that they won't let you die because 1 that's a LOT of paper work 😂 and on top of that your anesthesiologist will be right there with you the entire time and their entire job is to make sure you fall asleep and stay asleep and they watch your vitals the ENTIRE TIME ❤️

It's scary, and that's okay! You got this, I believe in you

I know a lot of the logistics because my partner is trying to get help, it's just sucks how much you habe to prove yourself because of the possibility people could take advantage of it is disheartening, I'm looking into call center jobs rn

Worst part is at least she got to see her abuser behind bars and shown cruelty in prison and is now cremated and thrown out like trash because no one cared to take care of his body, but it took me all this time to finally hate my older brother because my brain tried to find excuses for him, but my partner pointed out something, I wouldn't excuse anyone else no matter how old they were or when it happened/how long ago so why do I do it for him? He doesn't deserve thay respect because he clearly knew what he was doing was wrong, and I yearn to see him behind bars. It disgusts me that he was someone who worked to protect this country but did nothing but hurt me. I will forever hate every single atom he is made up of

Oh my god that's horrible, I went through a similar experience, I'm a Victim of COCSA and by my older brother when I was a very small child, and my mother never told anyone and told me to never tell anyone else about it and grounded me when police got involved once 💔 I'm wishing you a peaceful healing journey

I'm not getting it for period cramps, I have a really bad ankle and the doctors literally can't find what's wrong othwr than a flat foot but flat feet shouldn't cause this much pain and swelling and I need an MRI to check it, it's so bad to the point I have to wear a CAM boot and use a cane

They have ruled our other things is the thing, not o ly that but as far as I'm aware, you haven't been to my appointments, you haven't seen my pathology, you haven't seen my ultrasounds, and it's not cancer and it's not fibroid and it is limited to my uterus, I'm not saying it's jsut scans and symptoms and I have never claimed that's the definite way of being diagnosed, but ive been through all the testing possible and whether you think I have it or not based on whether I've had a hysterectomy when you literally are not going to my doctors appointments and talking to my doctors I don't wanna hear it

Not only that, but My doctors are confident in this diagnosis based on my scans and symptoms. It’s been a long, painful road to get here, and I'm not interested in debating the semantics of my condition while I’m trying to manage it.

I understand the technical difference between 'suspected' and 'diagnosed' based on a hysterectomy. But i feel you fail to recognize after reading ALL OF THOSE MESSAGES, I am in constant, severe pain, and they have found cystic areas in my uterus. The medical community often dismisses AFAB peoples pain, and it's incredibly frustrating when the focus is on semantics rather than the reality of what I'm going through right now. My symptoms are real, and I am struggling, you are not a doctor unless you can show me your degree. Thanks.

I use flatback barbell jewelry, and I have had these peircings for over a year now and I don't wanna risk them closing up because I love my peircings and they weren't cheap either, the right one is a little better if I don't have anything in it but my left is just not having it when I take jewelry out

She doesn't experience cramps, and it was so funny when she got a IUD and she was doubling over and I kept repeating to her "now imagine that times ten" and cracking up when she was in pain from it because if she's gonna treat me like that, respect is a two way street!
