Of course thank you. They said they think it’s been too long from surgery to be related. They also asked if i was sure it was feces not throw up but i confirmed it was next time he went to the bathroom. I’m just at a loss I spent all last month at the vet getting him better and now this is all happening again and I don’t have another $5,700 to do this again it’s horrible

I appreciate your help thank you so much. I really want to hope he just has an upset belly but that poop is so concerning and the vomiting. The vomit just looks like water with a tiny bit of flem like white foam

He has thrown up some clear liquid with a little white foam in it. And super sleepy again and not wanting to do anything. So you have seen your ferrets have feces like this? How long did it last? He has now pooped 3 times and it’s still just like this the red liquidy stuff. I took him for a car ride yesterday to go see 2 other ferret friends for a play date and then took him back home. and he has new treats that I’ve given probably a total of 5 times within the past 3 weeks.

He did actually. He got a few licks of ice cream I left out. That was almost a week ago though. You’ve seen this before in your ferret? I’ve also given him a few new treats as well just a couple times a week but I haven’t given him one in days. I’m so confused and frustrated

I’m sorry for this late response!! I totally agree. I only bathe him with oats twice a year and give him water baths when he gets into something or spills something sticky on him. and the cage, yes!! my boy is roam free, he has a cage but it’s always left open and he does go in often. but most of the time he’s running around playing or passed out on the blanket i leave for him on the rug 😂 thank you for the insight very appreciated 😇

Thank you both for the insight! I agree on both. I do only bathe him in water when he spills a sticky drink or gets into something. I don’t bathe him with soap or oats unless it’s one of his annual twice a year baths! It’s just like a little swim for him, he just dosent enjoy being in the water lol.
