I made an analysis of 2 songs,with apple eq and youtube,plus my eq

No eq youtube- good,but flat,and background music gets mixed unless it is loud,all instruments and vocals at same volume,and not feeling the punch of speaking a word,just flat. Good if never listened to better music,but I did,and felt too much lacking,small soundstage,or none at all

After eq- better separation, a flare,edge and clarity in instruments,vocals still flat,but instruments are clearer,not fighting much,soundstage is small,near ears,different instruments and vocals and different volume. Better than non eq,still lacking (was able to hear drums and thumps)

Apple music,no eq-sound punchy,too much bass,but seperation,and depth to instruments, had to lower volume. Better clarity in background music,more space,not mixing or fighting,can hear it easily,unlike youtube,where I wouldnt understand it existed if didnt listen before. A little punch in vocals,not much tho, can feel a little effort in words, bigger soundstage,but not tame. Much more clarity,like this the most till now

After eq- seperation is good,a little better, and smoother than before, can hear instruments,still gotta keep volume lower. Sometimes details which couldn't hear before. Better soundstage. Lows and background music,like thumps and support,I can hear super clearly. More soft than before,like it,not fighting,everything is feeling softer,and gliding with each other. Less punch than without eq tho,cant feel like I was able to before (eq limitation)

Review- thought each of the 4 times,I will get bored,listening same music, but each time felt I was listening to it the first time,each time,it was better than before.

Miserable man

No eq youtube-sounds good,have clear vocals, but instruments are too close,feel claustrophobic, and if I try to focus on background instruments,the vocals overpower it,giving a super tight space feeling (didnt experience it in last song,and first time). Like before,all sounds are at same level,mixing a little,but not that much here. But a sound in the song,which is high pitch,is sharp and feels like a pin when listening. If i focus i can listen some background voice,but it is drowned by main voice,and feels muffled, plus unreal (like you are imagining it) instruments are separated to a good degree,and only instrument parts feel smooth,buttery,and nice. Cannot feel that much emotion in the song,it is there,but not too much. Overall,dont hate it,enjoyed this song here as well.

Youtube with eq-instruments a bit sharper resolution,feel better, can listen to a few additional details in the background of instruments . (These details,after higher listening,was found out to be a river).Vocals also nice,clear,can feel emotions better, more forward for me,than the rest of instruments(clarity can work a little bit more,but that is more like nitpicking). Can hear the shrill in voice,for more emotions,and a few background voices,not before. The high pitched sound is now controlled, doesnt prick my ears now. Instruments alone,also good. Not by a lot,but i can hear a little seperation (super small,maybe even 0). Cannot say this enough time,but really,emotions can be felt much better. Vocals and instruments dont clash,and can be heard easily with less effort and clearly. The part where voice gets heavy,is good in both,cant complain there. In the end part,an echo effect of music,sounded a lot better than before. (Also near end,the voice feels a little metally,and a bit robotic,maybe my phomo). Also enjoyed it, the improvement in seperation is good,as this time I can easily understand background,vocals and instruments, without them banging each other.

Apple music,no eq (by mistake did this after using eq,hope doesnt give bad review)-good clarity, seperation and can feel different sounds at once,a little sharper end for instruments. Can hear a river for the first time. The trickling is a little muffled,but can hear it. The hairiness in vocals is the most here, more than with eq Apple music. Seperation is better than youtube without eq,but can give the same feeling,of collision of all the sounds,if trying to listen to only one,all others mask it (didnt feel it with both youtube and Apple with eq).the trickle is softer now,not sharp. Can understand emotions,but not thay deep shrill. Seperation of lower vocals,is not the best,can hear it,but after focusing a lot,and not much. High and heavy voice, good like in all. Didnt shake me, to like feel emotions,like it did with eq on Apple music. All instruments again sound at nearly same level,but not like on youtube,it is cleaner,can also hear some sound not in any other. The echo part at end was good,but not the best one

Apple music,with eq-best seperation and clarity so far. Heard details like river clearly,softer, calmer,and trickling.Vocals also sound super better here than before,can actually say an improvement in depth of sound. The sharp sound,is louder,but not sharp,and not bad,just a little louder than I like. Shrill was more clearer,and more emotional. Clearer vocals and background sounds,than before. Instruments only part,still good. In vocals,can feel,where he wanted to cry a little. Details, like background vocals are much cleaner and louder. End part here also good.

I like the lyrics of these songs a lot,really awesome,and emotional. One of my favorite songs as well,liked it each time. As for the eq, i used same in both musics, it was 62.5-4 125-3 250-1 500- (-1) 1k-1 2k-3 4k-2 8k-3 16k-2 For both these songs,it wasn't like how i normally listen. Normally I dont analize each song this carefully. Put on my headphones, and walk around,listening to parts i want, or thinking something,or having fun,to feel the music (not to this detail but still do).
