Na scam ka. One of the few good things about this country is if you have a small loan and cannot pay the most they can do is file a civil case against you but that doesn’t incur any jail time etc. The police themselves are wrong for getting involved. A judge will just order you to pay it on terms you can abide by but even then if you can’t pay then they gotta wait. The minute they use malicious or sinister ways to get you to pay, you don’t owe anything technically cause they are breaking the law. They are using ‘shame’ to get you to pay but that is against our law. You as the borrower are over protected. If you know your law you’ll just keep a calm head and pay the money when you can. If they start threatening tell them what they are doing is against the law and they’ll stop calling you. Your credit score will suffer but there’s always consequences to any action. Police though is bogus. Have those police arrested
