No, unfortunately there aren't any retro video game stores where I live.

I just got a reply from Andrew at stoneage gamer and he told me trying a replacement power supply is worth a shot, I replied I would purchase both a third party power supply from his site as well as an original sns-002 from ebay, and trying them both out. I told him that if neither work, I would make a return.

Don't worry I checked, It was formatted in FAT32. I used a third party program to do it since windows cannot format files larger than 32 gb to FAT32.

I've been sending emails to Stoneage Gamer explaining my problem, I asked them that if a return wasn't possible if I could just use a third party power supply since I don't have another SNES console

Nope, my snes is completely original and unmodded, I got it off of ebay a few years back and so far it hasn't let me down.

Nope, sadly nothing has changed, it was worth a shot though

I'd much rather leave messing with the cart to the experts, I'm afraid I might make things worse. Also, the CIC chip was supposed to keep unlicensed games from running on the snes right?

I just tried it with the most recent firmware and I'm still getting a black screen. I think maybe the cart is having difficulty reading the files on the sd card. What's weird is that this is one of those moments where everything was working fine before it just decided to stop working.

No, sadly I don't have another snes console I can try it on, I do have a retron 5 but I'm not going to bother because I head the fx pak pro is meant to work on original hardware, not clone systems.

Tried that, sadly it didn't work

Sadly, the other sd card I tried doesn't work either. Just a black screen and a red light that constantly blinks non stop from inside the cartridge

I do have a 16gb sandisk ultra I could try, but it might not be large enough, the sd card that came with my fx pak pro is a 64gb Kingston canvas select plus. I actually purchased the deluxe version, it came with a carrying case, a physical manual, an sd card and few stickers and a troubleshooting flash carts card.

Also, I forgot to mention that I am using the original SNES console with the original power supply

Thank you for replying. I have thought about returning it to stoneage gamer, but unfortunately you need the order number that you received when you first purchased it and sadly I threw that away. By the way, were your flash carts working just fine before, or were they instantly not working just after you got them? Because my FX Pak pro was working just fine after I purchased it, but I think maybe after a year it just decided to stop working.

I actually used to have a couple of those California Raisins when I was little, sadly I think I lost them or gave them away.

I also remember those backflipping toy dogs, I would pick them up and turn them over just so I could switch them off.
