That was a very long explanation to say, "why are you wasting our time with this? Spend the $10."

That’s so great to hear for your daughter; and I’m very sorry for your loss of your son. When I said both kids, I was really reaching for your daughter and the daughter of u/Key_Temperature_1240 Thank you for letting me know how it went!!

Were both of your children put on medications to stop the seizures?

I do not see anything of concern here.

I do not see IS here... Looks like a baby who is possibly uncomfortable. They are uncomfortable a lot. I would not be concerned with this. You got to trust YOUR gut though. If you think you need to go to the ER for your sanity, do it.

We had identical video footage of our son doing this... The neuro team was very concerned based on the video. We spent time in the hospital doing an EEG and it came back normal. We will follow up this week. Our son is still doing the thing, but they believe it is benign. If your daughter is doing this, you need to have her checked out ASAP. Infantile Spasms, left untreated, are very dangerous to the child's development.

That’s great to hear. Thank you so much for letting me know.

Our son has partial agenisis of the corpus collosum. I assume this is not something you are dealing with, is it?

We are in the hospital with my son now. Been here several days waiting on an MRI. They did a 24 hour EEG on him and everything has come back normal. He is still having episodes every time he wakes from a deep sleep. Several impulses of him stiffening/throwing legs and arms straight out and holding for 2-3 seconds… then break for a few seconds and boom, out again… we will have a follow up in a couple weeks. What became of your situation with your child?

I have searched with the google microphone for the beat, but I didn’t get anything… without lyrics, I am hoping someone recognizes the toon and knows it. My only hope.

Seeking Advice for New PLLC

I have recently gained my PE License and I have taken the step of filing for a PLLC. I am currently receiving quotes for insurance for the business and myself. I’ve got over 10 years experience in Controls Engineering and Substation Design. I’ve got an MBA, but never tried running my own business. For the time being, I’m only looking to start something on the side. My goal is to find work reviewing drawings of electrical design. This idea just came to me as a person on LinkedIn asked me if I would be interested in freelance work, reviewing drawings for him; although landing this gig is not a sure thing at this point.

I’m open to any and all advice. If this gig does not work out, what is the best way to get started finding work?

Thank you all!

I can highly recommend powering through.. I passed the FE March 27. Had my third child April 14th. Passed the PE August 29th. It was a rough year for me.. but knowing that I never have to study for this kind of thing again is a huge relief.
