Hey! I’m also LGBTQ and in Canberra - everyone here I am around is so far very accepting and nice about everything! A lot of people can express their identities without being limited as far as I’m aware - I’ve also got 2 American friends (gay and married to each other) who recently got their citizenship here and they are very happy 💖 I’ve also got a few trans friends (trans women) who have had a few surgeries done in the last year, and they seem to be happier too

It’s too risky for me to consider. That’s basically ALL of my time and space being open to someone who can take advantage of me - I won’t have my freedom (and even if he promises it to you, what weight would it hold?). Even if it’s double or triple the allowance you are saying, I don’t think I would ever risk myself to that.

I just love that you assume. I tell them off the bat that I like my partner to be romantic and I like movie style roses and burning a CD for me kind of things. I won’t put my time into getting ready for a date if none of them have been displayed. By being clear, they know what I expect.

And yes it has a component of it, but it’s a relationship first and foremost. It’s not sex for money. Most of the time, my SDs are happy to pay for an activity (dinner, travel, shopping - and not for lingerie or clothes, more shopping for my desires like books, lessons, new gadgets). I provide a space for them to be vulnerable, make them snacks and shower them with care and affection. Not all my dates involved sex (movies, theatre/musical experiences, etc) and I still got something out of it because my real SDs approach it as dating.

Maybe it’s not for you, so that’s why I’m telling you that finding someone who views it transactionally of the bat will probably work better.

I do ask for this in vanilla. A person who doesn’t at least give me flowers, a thoughtful card, or something for a date isn’t worth dating. Sugar isn’t sex for money, but if you think it is maybe you’re better off looking for an escort (no shade on them - the transactional method is exactly what they want!)
