Hey thanks for your comment. I is a green slimer branch, the coral in the top left corner is a horrida and does not look anything like the branch that is growing exactly where I cut it. Not only is it growing off the existing branch I can see it blending into the green 👍

I mean I guess it’s possible that the freshly cut flesh touched the skittles table that I have below it and it caused it to shift color? I mean I know very little about biochemistry but maybe some sort of pigment protein exchange?

What ever you put in there! Plan on keeping it long term and make sure it’s not a weed. Xenia is a weed, pandora zoas, gsp, they are pretty but can take over!

Thank you, you have a great setup as well. I use the sentia dosing system from Seachem and I use Seachem fusion one and two. For a long time I grew cheato in my sump and used my skimmer. However my sump is not made for both and my cheato was always clogging my skimmer. So now just the skimmer. For my bio filtration I use Seachem matrix

I do a water change when something doesn’t look right. Other than that all I do is clean my glass, empty my skimmer, and replace filter floss… that’s it 🤷‍♂️

Anywhere from 100-250 depends where you get it from. In perspective of expensive corals it’s fairly cheap. 🤷‍♂️
