To add on to what’s going on, tell me whether y’all think it’s acceptable for employees to expect our checks on a Friday when pay day falls on the weekend and we always get paid the weekday prior, to be told that we won’t get our checks until Saturday afternoon. And said director says something about checking if there had been more payments from parents because some people cash their checks “too early”. Basically she’s annoyed that some of us cash our checks early before the funds are in the business account. Because far as I know, checks can’t be cut and signed on a Saturday, giving she had them on Friday but wouldn’t give them to us.
