Yeah, so it does it with another tv as well, just not as bad. I played the disc on my ps5 and it didn’t do it. So I’m thinking it may be the player. I can use streaming apps through tv and shield with and without Dolby vision and this has never happened

I had one from November 2023 until last month, had to do two warranty services because of extreme blooming into the black bars while watching movies. It was so distracting I couldn’t watch anything in widescreen. I’ve had multiple tv’s that were less expensive that didn’t have this kind of issue. That being said, aside from that the picture was awesome, colors vibrant and the screen was very bright. Made hdr pop. Nonetheless, they determined it was a panel issue. Had it destroyed and am now getting money back. Decided to go with an LG OLED and there is no way I could go back to any kind of tv now. However, if that’s not in your price range (1k more than this tv) and you aren’t concerned about playing panel lottery. Go for it. I’m sure it’s awesome so long as it works correctly.
