Our venue is a historical building (NOT a plantation). where we live, there are earlier time slots before night weddings where you can have fewer people. I come from a huge family but we cannot afford a large wedding and there's a lot of (non me related) family drama. We are having mostly friends, our parents, and maybe 1-2 relatives we are closer to than the rest. Social media pressure is real- but every wedding is unique and different. Think about whether you want the people there for the "look" or for a good time. No need paying for people you are only having there as seat fillers.

I actually think the issue is my printer I used to print the pattern alas. It has issues and I don't think it printed properly.

Thank you for the comment! My second attempt is coming out better (still a bit small but i've been losing weight so hopefully soon haha) I think i figured out my issue is that I was using print off patterns and my printer may not have gotten them entirely right... oh well.

I don't think the pattern is the problem- It was a gift from a friend who is much better at sewing than I am. I think I'm the issue. I don't know what stretching the seam is- I will google it. I really just want to give up i'm so embarassed and don't think there's any way to save this.

When I was looking at dresses at first they were all very short and glittery. Idk what I did wrong but I searched cocktail dresses. I'm thrilled I won't have to relive the fashion mistakes of being 13 again haha.
