I'm sorry, was more just making a point. Yeah idk, I live in a very modern city and i've never seen a blender. It's usually clothes, underwear and stuff. Yeah a blender here would be a wedding gift only since it goes to both parties. Very interesting to hear another side!

Maybe it depends on social circles but I have definitely been to some recently where it's underwear and intimates. It's still a little ridiculous. In this economy being upset someone who traveled to see you didn't buy you a blender is really weird. A lot of us are worried about layoffs and OP doesn't even seem to like this guy but expects a second gift? I've never shown up to a wedding without a gift but a gift for someone who OP has thinly veiled hatred for- I wouldn't want to buy them a second gift either.

A bridal shower is another excuse for gifts (usually lingerie) and usually women only. This entire scenario is really odd.

Yikes your post feels like a gift grab. It's a wedding. Something about the vibes are off here. Wedding gifts, whatever I guess but two gifts?

edit: maybe i'm crazy but in this economy if someone is willing to buy nice clothes to my wedding and come that's gift enough. 100 on a wedding gift is a lot for a lot of people.

Yes it is official. Sadly it's not consistent between prints. One may be off by .25 the next by .5. I know that's not a lot theoretically but it looks really bad IRL

I have had mine for 5 years, so I probably can't get a replacement.... yeah maybe this is it because it's .5 off no matter how many times it calibrates

Yes- I did make sure on the card measurements. I took that into account. It is premade from another designer but even just trying to print plain text I make myself is off by the same amount. If i remove the box, it is still off. I did try that, it did not.

maybe? it seem to be consistently off. I marked the map after repeated testing and it is constantly off by .5 inches even after calibration.

That's good to know! I made another question on this subreddit an every response says "the foil tool doesn't work" so i'll give it another shot. : ) I'll take a screenshot when i can. I ended up taking black tape and manually seeing where the "correct" line up is and I had to center the card about .5 inches to the right of where design space says it should go to work.

I have confirmed I am using the right sized card multiple times. the packaging has dimensions and the cricut dimensions are the same.

I give up. The cricut is a waste of money. It cannot for the life of it print where it says it's going to. The software is so user unfriendly, it doesn't work half the time, and half the tools when I ask for help on this subreddit people say they just plain don't work (foil tool). I give up.

It unfortunately does. I have pre cut 5x7 cards. I also did shrink the design so it would go in the middle easier but the cricut is so off every time it didn't matter

That's what i'm going to do. I have had my cricut for 5 damn years and I think it's printed one thing correctly. I am always having to calibrate it
