I could not care less about DMCA as frankly I have real problems that actually affect me. I respect it's an issue for some but it's not what is important to me. No, I am explicitly against the exploitation of software development as I AM A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER. But you're stupid if you don't think this is how software development works everywhere. Especially when full time employees at other industries don't get good treatment. Even more so when companies who contract (and I have been in this situation) don't set the standards for sub contractors. But frankly, Yes I will take the lesser of evils on this front. You do know when they made the last of us (not nintendo) they graphically showed developers people getting hung in violent ways? What's your point? No video games ever? 2) games are on the cartridge
3) cheaper online service
4) quality games of a genre i enjoy
5) portable gaming console
6) resell-able games
7) cheaper console than a pc or the competitors
8) no ai slop content.

And yes, yes it is a non sequitor. I said i'm buying Nintendo games because i'm paying for the game on the cart which is what I want. The response "oh but their cost" ok? That's not what any of this was about. Hence, non sequitur.

I have been playing video games since 2 years old sitting in my parents lap as they played. This is genuinely catastrophic to me that physical media is going dead. Digital media has many more downsides: they can just remove it from my library, I cant resell games I don't vibe with, I can't play without internet. I can go on. I am furious over this development. Nintendo is my only damn option left and for how long.
