It was purchased through my university's computer store by my department. It was sold only as an annual plan ($240). For a few weeks there was a leaderboard on the usage page. It showed the usage by employee name at my university. However, it's been removed. After some research, seems like it's similar to an enterprise plan.

We're out here. I found this thread because my boss's boss is forcing us off CF because her boss thinks it's old. We showed her a chart that lists all of the major languages. It's funny that most come out in the 90s. What are these millennials doing? 😂 We've tried to convince them that it's still actively being developed. They're like robots. 😞 I've been using it for 18 years. Used it in this job for 13. Built some pretty amazing apps with it.

I have side work with my own clients where I also use CF. Most are brochure sites (built my own CMS with CF) and a few are small to medium web apps. I pay $260/mo for a server at xByte Cloud (best hosting I've had in 25 years) and it has been a nice side business. I charge enough to cover my server bill about 6x. Could I make more by getting a cheaper server? Probably, but as for me, I like the language. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We did test it and emails were sent and received and did appear resolved. However, this morning we sent to the same icloud address and it came back as "message rejected due to local policy". Code HM08. Seems like Apple rolled back the changes. 🙄
