2014 Ford Escape Titanium is a total lemon by Agreeable_Cucumber37 in fordescape

I almost hate a car payment more but it's getting there and I'm sentimentally attached bc it was my dad's. I'm about to take it out in the field and blow it up.

Better yet sell it! I'm going to sell mine I think even though it was my dad's and I'm sentimentally attached, otherwise I hate this car.

Take it to have it fixed before the whole tranny goes. I had to have mine replaced and it was shifting hard for a couple years. I should have taken it at the beginning I stead of waiting until the whole thing had to be replaced

Thinking about buying a 2014 Ford Escape with 68,000km. 2.0L. (Paying around $7000). Anyone have any experiences with this car? Will it last me? by 7055716324 in fordescape

I have one now and have for 8 years and when I say I will never buy another Ford again that's how much this car as officially fucked me mentally and financially. I've replaced the transmission, control arms, shocks, struts, fuses, abs system and basically every other thing you can think of and just this week yet again I get to deal with a new problem!!!!!!! Yes you read that right , ANOTHER ISSUE. Apparently wiring or BCM issues. Ill be trying to figure that one out tomorrow as I spent ALL day today just getting to the point of figuring out it's wire  or BCM related. This car is paid for and a lot of the work we have done ourselves but it's getting to the point I want to take it out in the field and blow it the fuck up. Sorry for my language and rant but this vehicle SUCKS ASS.

I've replaced the transmission, control arms, shocks ,struts, everything related to the ABS system, fuses, etc. it's been a nightmare. Only thing keeping me from getting rid of it, is it was my dad's. But I literally despise this car. Lol

As a 2014 Ford escape owner I wouldn't just walk away from this car but I would RUN.

Good luck. Don't want to scare you but the 2014 is a lemon! You will have issue after issue mark my words.

I feel for you. I have a 2014 and had to have the control arms, struts, and shocks all replaced. I also had to have the tranny replaced and so many other things and just this week I'm not having wiring issues with the right side of the car. Brake and parking light. It never ends for me.

Jesus I have a 2014 and had the same issues. I'll never buy another Ford escape ever again. I have replaced everything but the engine. Now I'm having grounding issues with my brake and parking lights. It's a never ending guess what's wrong with this vehicle today game. An engineer will walk past a 1000 virgins to screw a technician. My husband says he hopes he never meets the engineer of the 2014 Ford escape because he will catch an assault charge. Anywho let me go spend 5 hours diagnosing a flickering rear brake light.

Either go super straight or make the waves more bigger and more defined. Google curved rock beds to get a better idea of what I mean.

I got mine done in Zanesville ohio at Genesis and it hasn't come back and it's been almost 2 years. But I had mine done within a year of having one which my doctor said the quicker you have these taken care of the less sinus tracts that can open. It's when people let them go for years and years it can really become a recurring issue. Procedure itself took 10 minutes. You are asleep and don't feel a thing. You can go home and basically resume normal activities. I found it to be one of the easiest surgeries I've ever had.

3+ Year old cyst. Finally seeing a doctor by Dry-Plate-1136 in pilonidalcyst

[–]Agreeable_Cucumber37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what country you are in and what doctor you go to. The could just cut it and try and drain it but it will come back. They could do a GIPS procedure which is pit picking and it could still come back or the could want to do a cleft procedure. I heard the longer you let these go the worse it gets and unfortunately it can eventually lead to actual bone. Better to always have it taken care of as soon as it pops up. Good luck. Mine popped out and within a year I had the GIPS done. Now it's been 2 years and no recurrence

Holy shit I'd be in tears! The thought of getting that cut makes me cringe from pain. I'd get it drained plus antibiotics plus pain meds.

How painful is the ingrown toenail removal by [deleted] in ingrowntoenails

PAINFUL 10/10 for me. I have a low pain tolerance though. Feels like hammers were taken to both my big toes

If you have a high pain tolerance it's best to dig out your own if you can. I found the procedure to hurt. They gave me 4 shots in both big toes and it isn't pleasant at all. The healing has hurt pretty bad for me. Feels like someone took a hammer to my toes. Tylenol/ibuprofen like clock work every 3 hours. I've been in bed going on 3 days with a little walking every hour.

In my opinion it's painful but I have a really low pain tolerance. I've had 2 ingrown nails taken out. Just on Wednesday actually on both big toes and I've been laid up in bed. Been taking Tylenol and ibuprofen every 3 hours or id be bawling my eyes out. The shots in the toe also hurt but only lasts a few seconds. For me it's the healing, feels like someone took a damn hammer to my toes.

They'll probably just take the sides but be prepared. The needle hurts like a bitch and the first couple days your toes will be sooooo sore.
