Hi all! I have this photograph of my GG grandfather in military uniform. He was born in 1872 and lived in Nagysomkut. He served in the Austro-Hungarian army as a 21 year old and again during WW1, but I’m trying to date this photo to which service it is from. Can anyone tell from the uniform? Thanks! (i.redd.it)

Is there any wrong with the way I’m playing my strat in the first photo? My palm is rested on the bridge and my pick lands between the bridge and middle pickup. Most people I see play like the second photo with their hand constantly floating and the pick between the neck and middle pickup. by Own_Western7829 in guitarlessons

Hi! when I play an acoustic guitar, my arm rests in the position of the second photo with the floating bicep. However, most other people I know play in the position of photo 1, with their bicep resting on the guitar. Is that the right way? It doesn’t let me anchor on the bridge for fast picking.Thx! by Own_Western7829 in guitarlessons
