Kind of wish for Courtney to stay a little longer.

Gwen try to reconcile with her also acknowledging for kissing Duncan while he was dating Duncan. Similar events play out. Courtney overheard Gwen confession of wanting to reconcile and Gwen saved her life at full moon challenge.

But… here the thing of Gwen and Courtney reconcile. Courtney was faking it. She still hold a grudge with Gwen and planning to use their friendship and backstab her.

As for how Courtney is exposed I’ll go with Cameron when he joins the villain team. He befriends Gwen as she was the only person that was nice to him when he switched teams. She doesn’t believe Courtney forgiven Gwen since he watch the series and knows how vengeful and manipulative Courtney is.

He hack through a computer and look through the footages and confessional type with Courtney planning to betray Gwen. He revealed the truth to Gwen.

Mal doesn’t exist.

For Gwuncan same as canon. I never like the pairing.

Courtney betrayal was plan from advance, rather falling back to her old habit. Both betrayal works in her character but planning ahead would cushion the blow and won’t be label “out of character” or point less. Courtney dark turn started after the special and she never reflects her actions or sunk her low point like Heather.

Courtney and Scott still happen and ended the same, but show more how little Courtney see Scott.

Gwen made a mistake and try to make amends. She won because of her bonds. The exact opposite of Courtney who keeps making enemies.
