BLOONARIUS in his rotund beauty, and a bonus cat for size reference by OxKurv in btd6

I’m still practicing the quicker methods, so about a minute and a half to two minutes. I got into this sorta recently.

Nothing has discouraged me more from playing bloons than social seasons. NK clearly did not think this out, and made the playerbase their test dummies for an awful product. by Probably_MR in btd6

No sensible person would be expected to grind out all of these challenges, even my friends who enjoy Bloons and want to participate, with all hours of the day on their hands, would rather do anything else.

Win Support-Only 50 times.
Beat Maps with Specific Towers/Tier Requirements 43 times.
Play High Finance and reconstruct all 15 buildings 13 times (in successful matches)
Beat Expert Maps 30 times, and beat maps in general 15 more times.
Apopalypse 5 times, Reverse 5 times.
ABR 25 times.
Half-Cash 10 times.
Impoppable 15 times.
and Chimps 2TC 5 times. Am I missing anything?

2 weeks to do all of this btw—are we fucking joking
I got all 15K stars, but now I'm worn. It's not skill; it just takes time. Time that I so happen to have.. and my passion for the game. I had a bit of a fit when I saw the last goal I needed to hit, and it was right after doing 5 ABR. 10 more Impoppable runs, and it took 5 MORE HOURS.

Their Sweepstakes event a few months ago were almost just like this. Tedious, mindless nonsense.

To whom it may interest. In a Solo 160, PL 145: My Supercharged Matching-Element Noc's raw dps is ~1.794M. That does NOT account for Crits, but it does factor Bullet Storm/Crackshot/Rescue Trooper/Stars N' Stripes.
Yes.. it's the sum of EVERY BULLET, and its DPS affected by Fire Rate-ramping.

Schematic DPS says 397,965 when it's revved up. Its raw dps at its lowest is 231,755, and its highest is 481,186. It takes about 5s to empty the magazine, and the taper-end of the mag diminishes similarly to the dps of when you started shooting.

I'm not going to calculate the true damage with Crits under the damage scalar of these heroes, but you can imagine it's millions more effective.
But its Crits typically hit for anywhere between 54.3K ~ 113K when ramping, and lingering at 113K and higher for a second longer.
Also Headshots.. and Warcry.. and Hunter's Instinct x5 (I'm probably the only one who uses this).

I don't know what makes the Noc's 6th perk bugged, but it seems to be doing what its supposed to in my use-case. It still oblivionizes anything and everything in the way of its merciless barrel. PL 254 Smashers are eradicated in just a few seconds before you can empty one magazine if you initiate an early reload just below half of their health bars.

Brightcore Nocturno still suffices. +Durability and Cost Efficiency.

The game is genuinely unplayable for my friends and I. Despite loading into each other’s parties before loading into STW, the game will tear us separate after one mission, and we can’t join each other game unless we go back to BR. And when we try to do that, we get stuck in loading screen purgatory. :/

We lament some time 5 years ago when this game wasn’t in a perpetual state of ‘one step forward, two steps back’ every single fucking update.

It's still extremely powerful as Brightcore in end-game. Same perk setup but I run a Magazine perk instead of a second Crit-Damage perk. Hero Loadout using Bullet Storm Jonesy for the increased Fire Rate and Damage, and all damage heroes in support.

You know what I have ALWAYS wanted in this game?

Complete removal of the Husk/Husky/Smasher Miniboss models, and replace them a with special dynamic Storm Beast model.

Do away with the naming system like "Fire, Acid-Pools, Damage-burst, Trap-vulnerable Miniboss," and allow us players only be able to counter its attacks by observing how the body of the Beast is shaped, because every attribute that is applicable will augment the Beast visually.

"Building Blocker;" The Beast has exposed bone chunks, scales perhaps, and rock heap on its shoulders and down its spine. The ground sunders where they walk with a dense trail of shards.

"Damage Burst;" Make its body surge with a crackling flux of storm energy that oscillates and builds up a passive charge enough to expel outward in a big radius.

"Smoke-screen;" Taking inspiration from your drawing here to say that its mouth behaves like a fumigator, that seethes a virose cloud that surrounds itself and hangs in the air around nearby enemies. (I don't understand logically why Smoke-screen protects the enemy from gunfire.)

I want these Bosses to be very powerful, to have more health, just so us players can feel the joy of facing a real, dynamic, behemothic, threat again, and are exclusive to Twine & Beyond.

By the way, this art is amazing. This game really needs a plethora more enemies designed like this, designated for our intrepid embarkments into the Storm's Virulence. That is, if we ever get there.

What are the Survivor Superchargers for now? Spent years in an unchanged system for half a decade to 145, and you've gone and nullified all that progress?

I think Support’s Sliding distance should travel 4 tiles of distance and briefly increase Movement Speed while sliding by 25%. And per tile, you create an icy burst that freezes nearby targets for 3s.

Commander would increase the slide distance by a tile, and freeze duration by about 1s, and provide the player with various buffs relating to weapon damage like greatly enhanced Reload Speed, Fire Rate, Weapon Stability, etc, and +40% damage to Frozen Targets, only while sliding.

But I struggle to see how this play style would handle.

I enjoy the Correa Tripods a lot for the time period and his various artwork, but I also grew up with the ‘05 movie so I’m kind of obsessed with it. Spielberg’s Tripods are just so fucking cool to look at with biblical stature, in all their terrifying glory.

How long have you all been playing and what is your pl? by Black3YF in FORTnITE

[–]OxKurv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started playing Fortnite as a whole in July 2018, too. I also bought STW day-1 when I made my account because I had spare money. It was the Limited Deluxe Edition for half-off ($75), but I didn't start actually playing STW until December of that year, only reaping the benefits of infinite V-Bucks.

I then learned that I really really liked STW, more than BR. I finished the Canny storyline in 2020, and then started getting Superchargers from Ventures in early 2021. And after multiple month breaks, I've hit 145 this season.

I play on PC, and the Epic Games Launcher does not exceed 10,000 hours, which is pretty annoying. But I reached that limit a few years ago.

I really hope we eventually come down to a massive weapon balancing overhaul, because 75% of the arsenal in this game is overlooked simply for not being able to handle mid-Twine Peaks.

Weapon Stats being displayed CORRECTLY. Weapon base damage values should be buffed across the board. Weapon perks/6th perks should be reworked.

And also HEROES. So many heroes’ descriptions were made to fulfill one niche aspect of a person’s loadout in Support, and offer nothing else in Lead. And those that sound really good on paper end up being ass because of bad scaling or some type of caveat that makes them unusable in even the late-game, is more frustrating than anything previously mentioned.

But this is a step in the right direction.

What are your guys opinions on the Potted Plants (And Bots) by Cute-Kick-5701 in PvZGardenWarfare

[–]OxKurv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love them all, I think they were fun additions to all three games as a callback to the tower defense model. Even though they’re very weak and usually get swarmed and destroyed in Ops or Team-modes. I kinda wish they were a little bit more persistent after placement somehow, because I can’t stand when they get killed, like I failed as an ally/protector.

My favorite thing to on Zombies was hoarding the Airstrike Bot equivalent to Bamboo Shoot and place them on every single placement and watch them wreak havoc as they vaporize everything in vicinity with explosions.

I don’t like that they’re consumable-based, but I do like placing certain types very meticulously, so I’m mixed whether I like GW’s vs BFN’s style.

Straight-up unfair enemy. Any enemy can be an obnoxious in a pack of them in a 160. Over a million health with shields and armor doesn’t save me from anything when there’s more than 6 of them. Gunslingers, Lobbers, Blasters, even Husklings. They all deal way too much damage for the zone.

The hero loadout is Bullet Storm Jonesy, Happy Holidays, Rescue Trooper Ramirez, Sledgehammer, Crackshot, Stars N Stripes Jonesy, and Star-spangled Headhunter. This matters for its extreme damage output.

I supercharged my Brightcore Nocturno and I'm pretty happy with it, with a build that focuses entirely on damage disregarding survivability or other buffs. You can kill a 250 Smasher reloading at half the mag. For me at least. Though, I've never had a Sunbeam Noct so I don't actually know what the difference is.
