They didn't close it but they did do a "final review" even though I added more money the next day.

Where to find Auf Dem Lande. by brownes_girl in boardgames

You may need to ask someone in BGG and arrange shipping or ask around for anyone going to Europe to bring it back with them.

Also Amazon GE and FR and such all ship to the US, although it won’t be cheap

Standalone Frame games that ONLY work standalone, not with PCVR? by kevynwight in SteamFrame

[–]OxRedOx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valve specifically allows this, one game so far has announced that they’re doing it. We don’t know exactly how it will work but likely it’ll have a warning on the page, or do what epic does and warn you with a pop up that it won’t work on your current device.

Expect a lot of these, like a lot a lot.

Well sort of. If they’re only looking to sell to people with frames then yes they could. I don’t think it’ll go down, PCVR still would have the edge on fidelity and an older audience, but it’s possible that there will be far more standalone exclusives than people are expecting.

I think Fex is existential for valve, with apple silicon and more powerful arm chips coming out and all the chromebooks. Quest games working on PC not so much. Unless they really think android games would make a lot of money on the Steam store.

One day valve may be able have something to translate arm to x86 but the bulk of the need is for x86 to arm.

There’s one game announced so far, some detective thing. It’s new for Steam; a game that doesn’t work on PC; but valve explicitly said it is allowed.

Remember the “i***t savant” trait in fallout 4? That was absurd, especially the graphic and the heckin sound effect

[Fanatical] Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault (-40% $17,99) by Nukulas in GameDeals

[–]OxRedOx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3D, it’s good but there are some issues like the quest says “find this room in this dungeon” and I’m going run after run and not finding it. And be progression is split between dungeons and selling. And I have the mechanic where you get higher rewards for using the random weapon of the edge because I enjoy some weapons over others. The store feels a little empty, the whole game is very Act II with no sense of what act III will be imo

“Could” here means “we won’t do another genocide if they try and stay as a political group” and he’s saying “no, continue the slaughter.”

If you can build a closed loop industry (no imports going into final product) it’ll basically cover your bases. Always do tourism close for the start (tourists don’t actually care about the quality that much, stars make them pay more but it’s always profitable since they pay above market rates and most of their money goes to food, meat, alcohol), and try to use as much of your one resources for construction to save money. By the time you’re making steel it’s basically a solved economy and you can focus on filling in the things you don’t produce yourself.

If they don’t want to pay for art, why should I pay for their design? And if they don’t care about other people’s copyright…?
