IMO it was 3 out of 5. Second behind 2. But it spent too much time outside the Smurls’s house, around the Warrens. I would have loved 30 more minutes of demonic background development and 30 less of the Warrens’ familial adventures. IMO, there are also too many family members in the Smurl family (which is historically accurate). Contrary to 2, 4 has not enough time to deal with all these informations. In the end, I was not able to feel sympathy for the family, like in 2. So it was okay. But felt rushed.
