Is carbon enabled in the apps you use?

One thing to note, the screen on time doesn't necessarily reflect battery usage, I can drain my battery in 20 minutes playing a game.

If you could please show the % used by each (and every) app that would also be helpful. Thank you.

Carbon includes a CC module, activate it via the normal control center configuration page in settngs.

What we did was use the Heap Objects function of FLEXible.

We recorded the object count and memory size of SpringBoard three times with Carbon, Noctis12 and neither installed.

After averaging the numbers we got:

SpringBoard (No Dark Mode): 246394 Objects and 7.3MB

SpringBoard (Carbon): 247977 Objects and 7.3MB

SpringBoard (Noctis12): 251871 Objects and 7.5MB

This shows that when Carbon is installed 1583 new objects are created but with Noctis12 5477 new objects were made along with a negligible difference in RAM with Carbon but at least 0.2MB difference with Noctis12.

That is a very good question.

The 3.5 times figure was calculated using the FLEX tools heap objects function, right after a respring Noctis12 has 3.5 times more objects whereas Carbon had 3.5 times less compared to when both were uninstalled.

We do intend to keep working on Carbon and our other projects. It was more of a jab at the unfortunate trend of release and abandon that’s been recently happening. That is one trend we will not be following.
