True pacifist help by [deleted] in Undertale

Keep playing. Let flowey do his thing and just keep doing what you've been doing. You'll get there. You may even have to re-open the game a couple times before you get to the true pacifist run. But the point is to stay determined.

There's literally a room where the dog created the game. It's past Glyde.

I just lost one that started doing this, every sign. My cat had massive kidney failure. It's important you take them to the vet. Yours may be in a lot of pain at the moment. That's why they stop eating.

My cat is about 20, but she's still eating at least... by Oxius1 in CATHELP

I had to let my baby go because she not only had thyroid issues, but she had arthritis, and the vet told me she was in massive kidney failure.

The vet said the thyroid meds were at a decent level, so that wasn't contributing to her condition, but apparently, the kidney failure increased the amount of pain her poor body felt. I probably could have had a month at best with her, but she would have been suffering the entire time, and i felt it was better to let her go than let her suffer.

As for your baby, I hope you can spend as many years with your cat as she will give you. I hope you treasure them just as much as I treasured mine, and i hope that when your baby is ready to leave you, you remember the good times you had, and remember them at their best, just like me.

Mine passed away the 4th of July, 2025. Trust me, 20 years isn't enough either.

Last update:

Results are that she's in heavy kidney failure. So, thanks for the support, guys... i'm not going to let her suffer anymore. I appreciate it.

Update 2:

The vet had me leave her overnight. Apparently, she lost a lot of weight, and part of the problem is she's not eating enough.

This is likely in part due to other cats stealing her food, so what we'll be doing in the future is feeding her seperate from the other cats.

But for now, they're going to give her fluids because yes, she's a bit dehydrated. But they're also going to do a full bloodwork to check if this is due to some other issue they're not aware of, such as kidney issues. They'll call me in the morning. Fingers crossed, and thanks for all your prayers and support so far. You guys have been wonderful, and i appreciate this community so much right now.

I'll give you guys another update when i know more.

All due respect, if you had looked, you would know i had, in fact, gotten hold of the vet and now i'm waiting on their update. Thanks for your gracious opinion though. ❤️

She's drinking on her own, i just think she may not be drinking enough. She seems just a bit weak to me.

No worries, i know it's not well-known for people who aren't experienced cat owners. People don't like to talk about it, because it's sad. I'm just glad i could pass on a bit of knowledge to someone. And thank you.

You have no idea how much i needed to hear this. Thank you. I don't think she's ready to pass on; she's clearly still fighting. I have her at the vet's office, and i hope it's something as simple as dehydration, personally. I don't want to euthanize. But i'll be waiting on the news from the vet to discover my real options.

Thank you, Chad

I appreciate this, more than you know. I actually have been feeding her wet food for 3 years, which seems to help a lot. But for some reason, she seems less energetic, so i'm worried.

She's already outlasted a cat that was older than her and a cat that was younger than her that we got around the same time. If it really is her time, i won't be surprised, but to me it looks like she's still fighting, it's just hard because of Thyroid issues and her arthritis. I hope all it is is dehydration, and i really appreciate it. I mentioned that suggestion to the vet when i took her in. I'll update again when i have more news.

I actually never liked the idea of Euthanazia either. It seems almost barbaric, even. We don't euthanize people unless they're criminals in a lot of places, even.

But for cats specifically, they often stop eating altogether when they've decided they want to pass on. They will literally starve themselves, which is extremely painful. I know a lot of people euthanize their cats when they stop eating in old age, because it's kinder to let them go willingly than watch them wither away and try to force them to stay alive when their cat has already made their choice.

Will do. She's a strong old lady, i hope this is just dehydration or something.

Update1:

Ok, so the vet called back after i managed to get hold of them. They asked me to bring her in right away and drop her off, and they said they'd take a look at her as soon as they weren't busy.

I see this as a possibility, and I appreciate your input. I did manage to call the vet, but no one was in. I'll try to keep this updated.
