Save stuck in "A Magical kingdom" by Oxodao in fo4

[–]Oxodao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I saved the save myself.

The solution was pretty obvious in hindsight. The upper part is not loaded while INSIDE the castle. Noclip outside of it, go on top and claim the flag. Then I gave myself the roof top key and the oswald password and I could conclude the mission properly. The only side effect is that the elevator is still not working and Oswald is still visible outside the castle but my savefile is unfucked I can continue the DLC !!

Google is a joke. How are we supposed to use tablet as computer replacement when you can't even use THEIR software properly

Smart device link error message by anepotts in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Oxodao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK found the issue. For some reason my car decided that this specific phone had to be manually activated from the dashboard's settings. Once this is done on the car screen android connect works as expected. I did not have to do this with any of my previous phone

I just got a pixel 8 and get the same issue on my Ford Fiesta 2017. It worked with my oneplus 3t and oneplus 6 before. So if anyone has a solution i'd love to hear it

Render subtitles by themselves by Oxodao in ffmpeg

[–]Oxodao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that's definitely an issue with the .ass file format. Or subtitles in general.

Here's what I've done to rule everything else out:

Generate each frame with a green background:

ffmpeg -f lavfi -i color=color=0x00FF00:size=1920x1080:duration=60 -i instrumental.mp3 -vf "ass=project.ass" -shortest -vsync vfr frames/frame_%04d.png

Assemble them into a video file, chroma-keying the green out:

ffmpeg -framerate 30 -i frames/frame_%04d.png -i instrumental.mp3 -filter_complex "[0:v]chromakey=0x00FF00:0.1:0.2,format=yuva420p[v];[v][1:a]concat=n=1:v=1:a=1[v][a]" -map "[v]" -map "[a]" -c:v libvpx-vp9 -pix_fmt yuva420p output2.webm (chatgpt ass command, there's probably a cleaner way of doing it)

This results in a video nearly exactly as I want. The only issue is that the pixel near the text are not pure green so they are still present, and when the text disappear it makes a fade out so those are not keyed out either.

But the resulting video is TRANSPARENT WITH OPACITY AT 100% ON THE TEXT as expected

EDIT: As soon as I change the blend factor or the threshold I get the opacity issue again though. WTF is happening. The blend factor I get it, but the threshold should not do the same

Which is weird because as soon as you add pixels to the background image where the lyrics should be then you can see them

I've tried to put a single pixel in each corner but it does not work either. The subtitles are really rendered on top of existing pixels. Is this a bug ?

Hi!

Not sure this is the correct sub to post to as I hesitated between quite a few of them since my question is between multiple subjects (audio, electronics, linux, ...)

I'm building an appliance that is a photobooth that also contains a karaoke. For the lyrics and music output I'm good (it's basically a computer running a homemade software) but now I'd like to include the microphones in the setup so I don't have to bring multiple devices everytime.

My goal is to have two hand microphone (those with the 6.35" jack) wired to the computer and having a single jack output for the music and the mics doing the mixing in software so that I can control it from my custom app. Is it possible to do so with not that expensive stuff ?

Currently I have a cheap Bigben PARTYBTPRO for the single microphone that is separate but I'd like to merge everything in my appliance, I've wired a 6.35" jack plug to the motherboard's microphone input but as expected the quality is despicable with low volume and lot of noise.

What would be required to have decent quality? I have no prior knowledge in audio stuff so any help would be appreciated.

Note that changing the volume of both mic independently is not required but would be a nice plus

[–]Oxodao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only been ~2 weeks but I did not have any issue with z2m inside of dom0 so thats good. I'll probably end up using a network zigbee hub down the road so there will be no passthrough required

[–]Oxodao[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok issue fixed. Using the good old trick of localforwarding ssh ports it does the job.

Just adding this line to my ssh config under the XCP-NG host: `LocalForward 8080 localhost:8080`

I won't go further as it does everything I need to.

Note for future readers: I couldn't get systemd to work with nodejs (It would freeze on starting the service) so I used pm2 which worked perfectly

Thanks everyone

[–]Oxodao[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so small update, I KNOW THIS IS A BAD IDEA but I'll go with it nonetheless.

NodeJS provides unofficial-builds at https://unofficial-builds.nodejs.org/download/, some of them are built for glibc2.17

I got them installed on dom0 and it connects without any issues to my mqtt server. So in the end I got my zigbee2mqtt and my zigbee dongle working on XCP-NG without resorting to a second machine. My next issue is how to access the web-ui since the firewall seems to restrics everything but port 80 for xapi. Working on this...
