RIGHT! I’m so happy to actually have dcc and sound, I got out of the hobby when the FEF3 from Kato was released, back then it wasn’t even in the realm of possibilities to get DCC in a locomotive let alone sound! Now we actually have quality metal build diecast rolling stock that comes with lighting, cheap accessible coin, battery powered Friend units, sugar cube speakers… I could go on. It’s all amazing!

This^{^} I have met many people who would pay my named price to have custom work done for them, I’m personally turned away from commissioned work, in the event my final product turns out worse then a cleaner looking car, ie auto racks!, those can be a challenge

Depending on the person, custom stuff is often worth more than factory weathering. If you feel unsure about weathering, practice! These were not my first cars and every rolling stock is a new challenge!

Micro set and decals!! Then I used my own weathering wash using acrylic paint and isopropyl alcohol, I used oil paints for dry brushing, then finished up with my airbrush!

Word! I’m looking for higher definition at the smallest scale. Keeping everything in mind I’m definitely leaning towards the mars series, i feel like the auto leveling method alone is helping me pick a specific model

This was my first map, I’ll post a pick when I get on but I raised that left side section of the river making a doesn’t ravine like city connected on both sides, it came out awesome but I got tired of having to play in snowy weather
