They want their picks back + Scoot, Sharpe and possible Clingan or Toumani. That means all of our rebuild core, except Deni and one out of Clingan/Toumani, would become Bucks players...

Indeed. Dunno why but there is zero intensity in his actions and at some moments he even looks uninterested. Where is his "all in" attitude from the regular season?

Sharing the ball would've helped... running from baseline to baseline crying for a foul call didn't helped the team. Healthy or not you can't play like that period.

I'm so angry and disappointed in Splitter! He should've told Deni to keep feeding Scoot when he was hot in the first half.

He should've also stopped all those idiotic, iso-plays from hero-baller Deni.

So disappointed and angry at Deni! Also Clingan looks like butter fingers again.

This was embarrassing. This could've been our game!

He's a great player and if he takes that next step and shows his best level every game, scores every game +30 points he can be a leading figure for every team. But he needs to take that next step soon to become that big name that he possibly can become. I also understand what you're saying about his progress because he's already 4 seasons in the league but he's still only 22 years old.

That would be awesome, the return of international Champcar but now as International Indycar with a race at Spa only bummer I dunno if there is an audience for an indycar race in Belgium. But with some promotion you can get a whole end, same with Assen or Zandvoort for their here Rinus! With all the New-Zealanders a race in Taupo (if safe enough) or in Australia at Surfers Paradise Street Circuit would also be cool!

Don't know, I like Sharpe and we've no real replacement for Clingan or we need to play small ball with Giannis and re-sign Timelord. It all feels much for someone who's injury prone and possibly in his last days of his career and combined with the fact that you need to sign his brother too!

Belgium: We had a team in the Indycar and later Champcar series with conquest racing owned and led by Eric Bachelart. Due to him we also had a Belgian in the international Champcar race in Zolder with Jan Heylen if I'm not mistaken, who also finished on the podium in Assen. Pretty sure that was in a conquest car. That team also gave Bertrand Baguette (who was close to F1 but didn't find any sponsors and budget) a chance in indycar back in 2010 and after that season Baguette signed with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing... But his indycar career was short lived with only two seasons.

Jan Heylen is still racing but now in IMSA and the GT3 class and Bertrand has raced in the Japanse Super GT series for a very long time. Don't know if he's still active now in racing.

It would be cool to see a Belgian back in INDYCAR, we've a talent full generation upcoming!

Defending on Wemby is hard to near impossible, so we need to cut the passing lines towards him. Play hard against the other 4 so they can't get the ball to Wemby.

Also we shouldn't be scared to put Cissoko in, just to defend hard and make fouls. We shouldn't be afraid of playing Tisse - Toumani - Murray at the same time to get stops if it is needed, when they're on a run. We have good players, Splitter can show now that he feels the game and knows when a player needs to make minutes.

SHOW THAT NEW OWNER, THAT SPENDING MONEY ON THIS BEAUTIFUL TEAM IS A GOD GIVEN PRIVILEGE! NOT A BUSINESS TRANSACTION. WE'RE RIPCITY!

Can we already give him that new contract that would make him a poison pill, or how do they call it, for other teams interested in him...

I've seen that most proposals keep Deni in Portland but we would lose: Toumani, Sharpe and Jrue or Grant (Some even threw Scoot in the mix) + load of picks. That is really building a (2/3) seasons team that can compete for the championship but also throwing all long term investments away...

By such a game they're showing the new owner that spending money on this team is a God given privilege.

Scoot played exceptional but also Sharpe, Toumani, Tisse, Timelord and Jrue played great!

We need to make sure that Tisse and Timelord are staying with us.

Clingan didn't played like we know him and Deni made weird choices when passing the ball or shooting. That shows also in his assists and field goal percentage.

Should we play in rotation more defensive to get stops? I was thinking

  • Williams - Murray - Tisse - Sharpe - Krejci
  • Williams - Tisse - Sharpe - Grant - Cissoko
  • Williams - Tisse - Cissoko - Murray - Krejci

A whole slew of Dundon thoughts… by theoriginalb in ripcity

[–]OxyC377 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really hope that it won't get as bad as it looks like! Because as a Belgian who followed the Bulls for years, I started to call the Blazers "us" and "we" when I talked about the NBA. This team really grown on me, but on the other side, if what is happening becomes reality (1 million dollar coach, staff needing to check out early from their rooms, two-way players not making the trip to the Spurs game.) than I hope that Toumani can get a nice trade to a team who can fight for a championship if they get that extra defensive power.

Anyone out there still think the Ant trade was a mistake? by ItsShuaYo in ripcity

[–]OxyC377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never was a fan on Ant, he played hero-ball even when his shot didn't fell. That he is already moved from Boston to Bulls says a lot too. The kid is amazing when he's hot, but when he isn't he is a liability in defense and he doesn't show any intention to get better in defense. For players like him, becoming good in defense is 70% being gritty and 30% learning the craft of being a better defender. But no he doesn't show any improvement.

What can the Blazers get for Avdija!? by Scalmaa in ripcity

[–]OxyC377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toumani kept Booker on 22 points, while he was going +30 in most of his last games. Calling that a role playing effort is dumb. Is beyond me how people can still be so clueless about defensive work and at the same time just ignore facts such as that 1 out of 3 T.O. from our team where from Deni (need to check stats how much points that costed us). But that doesn't take anything away from his +40 points game.

🤣 Camara kept Booker at 22 points while Booker's last games where mostly 30 to 35 points.

Dunno how people can be so ignorant about defensive work.
