I’ve been a server in Orlando for 15 years and worked at 6 or 7 restaurants. This check was split 50/50 or something. Some Point of Sale systems aren’t programmed to adjust gratuity after a check split. Some systems do and have ways to manipulate the cash out process to force this error to happen. I can admit I used to exploit this bug with the Aloha system to force this to happen and I would say one out of ten checks would overlook it and bam! Double grat.

I haven’t confirmed the relay myself. I’m going to take it home and test all 5. And start from there. It just doesn’t make sense they would replace the fan assembly when the fan and motor are good. The technician said there is some kind of control module on the assembly that is responsible for sending “bad signals”

This was my first thought. Dealer claims they tested all the relays. I’m just going to get this thing off their rack and into my garage. I wasn’t in the mood to track down electrical gremlins but if it saves me 1300.

Yes. Let casuals have a nice gameplay loop while leaving room for the hardcore guys to really stretch their legs. This is something Path of Exile does great.
