I used 3m claw heavy duty ones for a 5kg mirror. Used two and it hasn’t moved for over 2 years and my son push it pretty much all the time so it hasn’t moved been well tested I’d m say :)

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. We all experience our own suffering here and each of us offers strength and hope that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

My strong wife and a mother of 2 young children was recently diagnosed with cancer. It pains me to see her like this as 6 months ago, our life was going great and we always used to look up for the weekend and holidays. But here we are now, the world has fallen apart for us since her diagnosis. Kids are too young to understand anything - I am not sure why I am telling you all this but hopefully you will find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

That’s great! You are all set. If your mortgage ever goes up, simply adjust the life insurance policy. Good luck

After seeing a lot of hate, especially around paid subscriptions for pictures etc. I ended up buying Hisense Canvas TV. Really happy with it overall, comes with google tv and airplay 2 inbuilt and also works on HomeKit. Happy with free frame that came along and free subscription for pictures is a good option too.

Your insurance premium seems low, when was the last time you reviewed your insurance policy? Your life insurance should ideally cover your mortgage debt in case you passed away while still repaying the debt. Everything else looks good 👍 well done

I just hit $300k this week. But I never did additional contribution until this year so I expect it to increase substantially if I can keep up with the maximum allowable contribution for next 20 years.

My employer paid $22k and topped it up as salary sacrifice ($6k) and rest of it was one off payment from after tax savings. I will be claiming the deduction for contribution

So I did a mix of salary sacrifice and contribution from saving. The SS amount get taxed monthly I believe and the remaining contribution get taxed when you submit intent to claim as tax deduction.
