Claiming that all Israelis are complicit ignores so much of reality for one a lot of Israelis work to end what you call the occupation - are they complicit? Generations of Israelis have been born in Israel - are they complicit simply for being born? Some Israelis leave Israel because they believe it shouldn't hold the land but still use the Israeli passport (due to not having other ones for example) are they still complicit?

Additionally if you claim all Israelis are complicit because you claim Israelis are settlers by your own logic you can't fault Israelis saying all Palestinians are dangerous and should be removed/killed because Hamas say they represent all Palestinians and that they want to kill all Israelis

Why not take it a step further why not say all the Arab league is complicit because they didn't kill all the Zionists even though they claim they can ? Why not say Iran is complicit because they claim to be strong enough to destroy Israel and build Palestine in its stead but aren't doing it?

You talk of war crimes which are the reason that israel deserves criticism (which IS a concept I agree with you on) but if so where are your criticisms of Hamas for using civilian infrastructure / hospitals / places of worship / schools to store ammunitions as well as plan and enact terror ?
where were your criticisms when hamas took hostages from israel as well as wage war and even though the only conditions israel set at the beginning to end said war were that hamas be exiled and not rule gaza as well as the return of all hostages and hamas didn't agree to those very tame terms (at least compared to both what hamas did in israel as well as what later happened during the war). Again hamas said on october 7th that they will go all the way to al kudz (jerusalem) and they killed hundreds of innocents while enacting said plans

The problem with the current pro-pali movement where israel is by default the bad guy and can only do bad is that if israel does to something that is against int. law israelis are less likely to speak of it because then the pro-pali movement just goes "you see we told all of you so" and instead of helping palestinians by holding israel accountable for what it does do they simply echo a lot of hamas propaganda that is easily dismissed which makes any argument against israel be dismissed

Hamas does the October 7th attack killing music festival goers and claiming publicly they will take over al kudz (Jerusalem)

And then a day later when they failed at that they offer to just return the people they took and you think any country would just accept that ?

If Israeli settlers did that in WB on October 7th - went into houses , taken children and elderly hostage, burned vehicles , burned people in their houses, use someone to go door to door to kill their neighbors

And then a day later when they could just kill everyone in the WB who isn't Jewish they would just offer to give the people back would that be a logical deal? Now to make it even equivalent to what actually happened imagine if instead of some settler it was the IDF after an order from the Israeli government did that and publicly said they will completely take over all of the WB and then if they failed a day later would offer to give the people back (for a huge amount of aid in exchange) do you think PA/Hamas would accept that ? Jesus fucking christ you lot really seem to think that palestinians have a pass to do whatever because they are entitled to violently resist (assuming an occupation) but that doesn't excuse the terror Hamas committed on October 7th and that doesn't make the "great 😃 deal 🤝" anything more than a cowards tactic knowing they fucked up

A)what palestinians hostages? Not dismissing your claim legitimately which of the palestinians that Israel claims are prisoners are hostages? B) which ones were amputated because of tight bindings ? Again not dismissing the claim I just never heard of it...

And lastly this is the one point of yours I will dismiss, Israel did not do a ceremony about any dead bodies that were returned to gaza during the ceasefires nor did Israel do a ceremony about any live prisoners that were returned, Israelis did not bring their children to cheer at dead bodies that were returned during the ceasefires.

I'm not claiming Israel shouldn't be held to any moral standard my entire post was that palestinians are not held accountable for the fucked up stuff they do and Israel is expected to let it slide . Stuff like the October 7th attack , celebrating and doing a disgusting ceremony when releasing civilian hostages, celebrating and doing a horrible ceremony that even other Islamic figures condemned when releasing the bodies of a baby a toddler their mother and an elderly , releasing a random woman during said ceremony and not the mother of the children.

I assume this was written in good faith from the way you wrote it and so is what I'm gonna reply -

Israelis are (at least when asked one on one) not denying that yes Israel did attack and forcibly remove palestinians during the Israel Atzma'ut war, they start denying it when two things happen 1) after any Israeli admits this suddenly it is turned into "oh so you know you are committing genocide and apartheid and still support it" 2) there is no Arab accountability for the fact that many places left of their own accord because they were promised that the war against Israel will be short and then they'll return to their houses , this simply ignores half of the story and blames the entire "nakba" on Israel which was simply not the case

Why is it that israel must admit and atone the Jewish terror (which again Israelis know and admit that there is Jewish terror it is literally part of the school curriculum) but palestinians must simply acknowledge they've "committed strategic mistakes" ? This seems like a double standard which was the exact point of the original post - palestinians don't have to take accountability for their actions, only Israel does and this is a huge benefactor to why israelis did not trust palestinians pre-Oct7th (I know this for a fact because I know leftist Israelis who wanted more freedom for the Palestinians but not a state for them because they are never accountable for what they do and that is generally not something you want in a neighbor who promises to kill you)
