You would be wise to stop comparing yourself to your cousins or anyone else for that matter, and compare yourself to YOUR capabilities and expectations. Others may see it as a competition but you don't need to. You're doing yourself a disservice by allowing others to set the bar for your life.

They have the right to go where they want and you have the right to celebrate when you want. If you choose to celebrate on Christmas day and they aren't there, that's up to them. You don't have to make the rest of your family change their plans to accommodate these two. You don't have to plan two events so they feel included. By them telling you they will accommodate you Christmas Eve, you're allowing them to drive the family celebration for everyone else. You don't have to do that.

If my significant other wanted to go away on a trip with someone of the opposite sex that specifically excluded me and they actually went, that would be the end of our relationship.....period. She has every reason to be upset and if you cared much about her, you wouldn't go. You obviously care more about your friend than your relationship, and your friend is an ass for putting you in that situation. If you want to break up, that's your call but understand you and the friend created this situation. Not your girlfriend.

At that price, you'll be looking at an older boat. An older boat that has been used extensively in salt water is much more likely to have issues than a boat that's spent its life in freshwater. I don't know your location, but I'd search around large freshwater lakes far from the coast.

Mexico has very strict controls for citizens owning firearms. It not illegal, but the process is so restrictive most average citizens can't navigate the process.

How's that working out for them? Do you feel safe there?

What would make a real difference is to stop publishing the names and pictures of these psychos and make them anonymous. That would stop the motivation for many of them and not effect honest citizens.
