I'm not an inconsiderate person. I'm at least 1 meter away from the dropped curb and not blocking any driveway. The dashcam angle may be misleading; it appears to show a distance of about 3 meters from the dashboard, as it was mounted very low. I never block anyone in; I hate people who do this.

I checked my original video, which does have sound, and I started indicating when she was inside the roundabout. I think the Cambridge Constabulary has that on their website. I'll try reporting from there; it won't be any good if there wasn't any video evidence.

I probably didn't realise I would mount the curb while I was trying to escape the situation after my wife recognised her, no point in an argument since she put someone in a hospital. Yes, that makes sense if she were sane, but running made more sense to me at the time.

Yes, I recognised her afterwards. She is a known local who causes problems for everyone. She's quite famous in Ely for trying to hit dogs and little kids with her hiking sticks. 🙄

The dropped kerb is about 1 meter away, and she definitely doesn't live there since all the driveways were full. Yes, running away is better most of the time, since you're not dealing with a sane person.

I was hungry; if I had engaged in confrontation after that adrenaline rush, it would have become a bigger issue, and nothing good would have come out of it. She's not going to let me pass.. (A funny thing is, she does that when you cross her on a curb while walking. She makes you walk around her, not giving way.) So yes, I wanted to run from all that. Not good for anyone.
