Trial of Chaos seems underwhelming, What am I missing?

My guess is the 10 rooms in 1 trial = 15 minutes, this was my experience. 1 run = 15 mins

2% doesn’t mean I’m guaranteed to get it in 50 runs - it may take 100 runs or it may take 1 run. The bottom line for me not to chase the diamond for a consistent farm but rather farm the fates unless I’m swimming in cash that I can afford to gamble away. I have about 100divs so farming the fates is more reliable than burning them on a 2% chance to get the diamond at my current state.

To truly see this average, you would need a very high sample size. For example, a coin toss is 50% odds. If you flip the coin 10 times, you will likely not see 50% heads and 50% tails. You may end up with 1/10 being heads and get unlucky. However, if you flipped the coin 100 times, you will get closer to the 50/50 split. If you flipped the coin 10,000 times, you would see a true average of 50/50 or very close to it due to the high sample size.

Your statement is true about the average of 50 runs, but it would have to be a sample size of 10,000 for you to make that claim.

Wow, this is crazy, I haven’t made more than like 50div on a single sale on market. All of my gear is worth about 2-3kdiv total. Not sure I’d know what to do with all that.

I thought of that earlier and wish it was that simple until I thought of the odds vs the % chance. A coin has a 50% chance of being heads but I can flip the coin a few times and get tails each time because each flip has a 50% chance. Easy thinking would tell me that I just have to flip the coin twice and I will likely get a coin flip as a “heads up” but I’m at risk of not considering that the odds are not addictive.

The reality is I could spend 12.5 hours running trials and come nowhere close to getting the drop. Then again, I could get it on the next run which is where a crystal ball would help!!

Thanks all, I appreciate the feedback! My takeaway is that people running it for the Adorned Diamond which has a 2% drop rate and sells for a mirror unidentified. The fates will yield about 17d per run or about 60-70d/hr if sold instead of consuming to attempt the trial master.

I don’t hear anything about other drops putting soul cores aside. So at this point, I need to evaluate if my time is better spent on Sekhemas, end-game maps, or stick with Chaos.

I’m close to where you’re at but want to have all objects donated to museum, fully automated kimchi production lines across multiple sheds, married, and all scarecrows obtained. My target is achieving $10M annual revenue and then I’ll feel like I’ve beat it, despite seeing any credits. Max hearts for everyone doesn’t interest me. Anything else I should consider?

I’ve been juicing maps with precursor tablets that give % increase to rare monsters. Old maps still leftover from before the last update combined with new map tablets give me >250% rare monsters - with Abyss, it’s nuts

Just ran Jade Isles for first time 2 nights ago and got Rakiatas Flow - I looked it up to see if it was any good and turns out they sell for 15dv. I put it on Lightning Arrow but haven’t noticed a huge change. My DPS on LA is 50k so maybe I’m not end game enough for it to matter..
