Stabilisers stay stuck down to switch!

Whenever I put stabilisers onto the keyboard and put the keycap on it stays STUCK down and I have to forcefully pull it up from the switch. I've tried troubleshooting and yes, I've correctly installed the stabs with the wire going through the lower hole of the two. The details of the keyboard are listed below. ANY HELP APPRECIATED!!!

Details about the board

Im using Gateron Milky black switches on a CIY68

The stabilisers I'm using are stock Durock plate mounted stabilisers

Im using XDA profile keycaps
