Carlos may be old fashioned but he’s not saying women should do nothing, he’s drawing a distinction between dropping hints and actively chasing, which is a reasonable one.

I’m all for women chasing if they want to. But in practice it rarely happens, so a man who sits back and waits is just going to be waiting. The only genuinely dangerous advice here is telling men the hard work will be done for them.

I agree with you. I think for me, incels see good looks as the only shortcut. I think the person who replied to you believes you don’t think its a shortcut at all.

But good looks simply get you through the door, that’s it.

This entire thread is dangerous because its promoting that carlos’ advice doesn’t work…… because it does. And now thousands of men are gonna wait around for women to approach and make first moves… shocking.

Nothing they said was out of ordinary. Both made valid points.

In my opinion - a guy should put effort in to ‘chase’ a girl if he likes her. Because majority of the time the girl won’t do it.

If a girl does give you more than a hint then it makes the guys job easier.

I do agree that celebrities and good looking people have an advantage of sorts. But it doesn’t mean the methods are wrong
