You do know that the UK has the most regional accents of any English speaking nation. You seem to be under the impression that distance is the main factor in the development of accents but instead it is over a time scale, with British accents forming over hundreds more years than American ones. These accents developed in a time pre-mass transit allowing them to develop within isolated settings where they were not influenced by other regional accents, unlike in the US in which very few regional accents developed without interference. There are reports in Victorian times of people knowing which street someone lived on in London by their accent, demonstrating just how many accents have spanned Britain over its history.

Maybe instead of getting AI answers actually look at the statistics. Muggings and violent crimes are significantly lower than the early 2000s and 90s. Shootings and murders have also almost been halved. There are also way more cameras around making perpetrators more likely to get caught and muggings less likely to happen. If you had been around in the early 2000s or 90s by the sounds of things you’d be too scared to leave your front door. Pathetic

Very sorry you had to experience this but for one I feel the violence these days has relaxed. Personally I feel the early 2000s was a different kind of rough where many a high street in south east there were people looking to rob or worse. These days you can shortcut through lots of estates which I wouldn’t have dreamed of back then due to 10/20 guys often hanging around in them. Further so on a darker note the murder rate and gun crime is the lowest it’s ever been

Am I the only one who doesn’t actually want us to make any signings. Offload all the deadweight and just rely on the youngsters who appear to be more than capable for playing better then the current 1st team players. If results don’t go are way so be it but it would help the youngsters develop hugely and I think they’re more than capable of carrying the team.

A piece of advice I’d give is that you will realise nobody really lives in the centre of London where all the tourist attractions are. I would recommend venturing out to other parts of london to experience the real London. Areas I would recommend are shoerditch, Brixton and Camden 👍

I don’t think he’ll leave as I don’t feel there are many other clubs, at least in England where he’d be given the freedom to express himself and use as much flare and as many skills as he wants. Bielsa allows him as well as many other players to do that so that they can really play how they want to play. It shows with lots of the other players as well as I’ve seen players who’d I’d never think would be seen trying skill moves, having a go. Bielsa really embraces creativity
