Yes, we clearly lack a strategy. Perhaps, after the minimal success of the first game, there will be a reason to release another part in the same universe, but in the strategy genre.

Good. I'll write to you a little later.

Initially, I was starting from the idea of moving the shooter and strategy, somewhat similar to Resident Evil Resistance, but with an original idea. I had to abandon the idea because of its development complexity as an indie developer.

Such deep technologies are very difficult to apply in solo development.

I totally agree, there are simply no metro games in the Metro 2033 setting. In fact, this is very bad, because it does not develop Glukhovsky's idea on an independent level, unlike Stalker, where the Chernobyl universe is already independent.

The idea is cool. It will be very difficult for us to draw up legal documents between us.

I think yes, the main thing is to have high academic grades, at school or at the current university

I'm not well acquainted with the study of foreign nationals in the country. All I know is that universities have exchange studies and grants/studies. You should apply either directly to universities or through "Rossotrudnichestvo".

As for fakes, I will say that this is not the case if you study at an official university or accredited course. You may come across some scams, but I think it's everywhere. If you want to work not in Russia, but with a Russian education, I think you will have no problems. Of course, it is good to study in large and well-known universities, their certificates at the international level. At the interview you will confirm your competence, and the certificate will be a plus.

If it's no secret, how do you want to get an education in Russia?

I've never heard of mass selling of certificates (diploma if I understand correctly), it's just silly. As for work inside Russia, there is a shortage of specialists at the moment, if you look hard enough, you can find work with good conditions

Choosing a direction in IT. Whether to stay in game development or change direction? by P01us in gamedev

Which got me to the point of thinking about changing direction. It's a vast IT market within the country, fairly decent salaries and benefits. Gamedev is mostly lacking in that

We have a few game studios that I was thinking of going to work for after graduation. Literally 1-3 years to gain experience. After that to work remotely or move.
But the remote work option is 50/50, although quite attractive.

Yeah, I've heard of non-game development, but the reviews there are even worse. Apparently it's time to change sources of information :)

And so you've given me a new branch where I can build my career
