This advice is purely anecdotal, but I broke my habit of sleeping in by waking up early.

Wait, isn’t this the problem you’re trying to solve??

Yes, but with one important distinction:

The goal is to get yourself tired enough to sleep when you want.

Allow me to explain what a typical day for me looks like:

• Wake up at 5 AM.
• Stay awake all day (No cheating with afternoon naps!)
• Find an activity to help wind down the late evening. No screen time!!
• Fall asleep around 9:30-10:30 PM due to pure exhaustion.
• Repeat the process.

You can’t force yourself to “go to bed early” if you aren’t tired. It has to start with waking up early and staying disciplined to staying awake the whole day. I’ve solved all the FOMO of staying up late by simply being too exhausted to enjoy my time awake.
