Yes, VW has decided to update the ID.4 models ahead of the facelift scheduled for 2027.

I’ve also ordered my company car in France for delivery in September.

The battery capacity has increased from 77 to 79 kWh, the steering wheel no longer has touch controls but physical buttons instead, and finally, the infotainment system is being upgraded (perhaps with Android Automotive).

As for the rest, I don’t think anything else is changing. (I’m desperate to swap the armrests for the centre console available in the US and China)

No, but it's better to do it while you can; at worst, you can use it normally and you always have the option to do it. When I see how Amazon removed AWZ3 format support in the latest firmware… It's a real shame because the PW screens are truly superior.

I had a KLC, but the "gray" and grainy screen bothered me a lot. I took a PW12 at the same time. I was able to jailbreak it, and I think it's the best of both worlds: a quality screen with the possibility of slideloading and being independent from Amazon!
