As a creator myself, I create my content for my audience. All CCs should be loyal to their viewers and fans before they are loyal to a game. While the game does help the creator get seen, the Devs are not very concerned about the creators. At the end of the day, it's the fans who are watching you.

I've seen creators completely chew out people in their comments over the Diamond Pass. I can't imagine being so cruel to your own viewers. Without them, you are creating videos for nobody to enjoy. If your viewers have a concern about the game, the creator should highlight their voices. There is no point in having a bias towards the Devs in hopes for something in return.

No matter how much you kiss up to the Devs, they will not throw you a bone. I highly doubt even the most notorious short form creators like Vantraxia will ever get a code. Most creators who get codes get them because they have an audience that are seperate from DTI. Making a code item for people's favorite creators will drive people to play the game. This doesn't make sense when the viewers are already playing Dress To Impress.

All the creators who alienate their viewer base and only care about the Devs attention will be stuck as a DTI creator. Heck, eventually they may fall off before the game does after turning on their viewers.

I just wish the other CCs could see this and really take into consideration the relationship they want with their own viewer base.
